Items works great to help clean up catalytic converter. It’s say for diesel but used it on 2009 Nissan Altima

I am trying to troubleshoot a clogged catalytic converter on my BMW E90 and thought maybe this product would work. Bought multiple cans of it, followed instructions word for word. Even watched a few youtube videos of people that used it and just like the majority have said in their reviews...This product DOES NOT WORK. Waste of time and money. Complete garbage. I am a self taught mechanic with over 10 years of experience was definitely seeking a little shortcut with this product or at least buy myself some time to unclog my catalytic converter, but this product is NOT the answer. Take it from a well educated "pro". This product is trash. Move on. Pictures below of the inside of my catalytic converter after 3 cans of this garbage. It did absolutely nothing.

Works like a charm! 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V-8 4.7. 420 error code bank 1 - S1. I removed both of the oxygen sensors I sprayed approximately 1/4 of the can in each of the pre-catalytics on the y pipe. I say I only put a quarter on each and used half the bottle because that's all it would take without running out the top. I immediately noticed the light went off on its own without me having to clear the codes. I am sure my catalytics were clogged due to oil leakage from the valve seals in the cylinder heads. I have also added an oil additive to try to recondition the valve guide seals which is the root cause of the problem. If they get clogged again I know I must change the seals. I still have enough left over to treat them both one more time each. Excellent value for the money with amazing results when used as directed. Excellent value for the money saved me a thousand bucks in replacing my catalytics and exhaust system. Rock on!

Worked great BUT just long enough for it to pass emissions test. Then about 3 miles later it turned back on

I use two cans of this exhaust filter canister cleaner as directed. But my 2010 Jetta TDI was in limp mode and would not regenerate on its own. I had to buy Ross tech software and adapter to tell my car's computer to reset the soot load to zero before it would go into regen , I also cleaned the DPF pressure differential sensor rubber tubes with Weedwhacker line and compressed air , the small one seemed like it was sort of plugged. Then drove on a freeway for 30 minutes going 65 After that, the engine trouble light and the glow plug flashing light both went out. Car runs fine , no limp mode .

I've used this now on three separate vehicles of mine for the P0420 code. 2002 Toyota Camry, 2002 Toyota Solara, and 2005 Toyota Camry. The 2005 got the code over a year ago and I ran the cleaner through the catalytic converter and the code hasn't returned. I bought the 2002 Solara a week ago with the code tripped. Ran this cleaner through the cat and cleared the code and passed my vehicle inspection. Highly recommend. Really easy to use, great value compared to tank cleaners that never work long term. The smell when the cleaner burns off through the O2 sensor hole can be a little harsh so just be careful about breathing in fumes.

After reading dozens of product reviews I ordered 2 cans. My issue on my 2013 Equinox stems from excessive oil consumption due to faulty piston rings that prematurely wear. ( GM decided I didn’t meet their criteria to have it sorted under a class action lawsuit! ) The oil eventually clogs the oxygen sensors and the screen on the catalytic converter. I ordered 2 new sensors and before installing the new ones, ran 2 cans through the system about 3 weeks apart. I did not have my check engine light go out, but the engine does run incredible well now. I cleared the code myself and am hoping I will be fault free for a long time. All of this because I couldn’t justify $4000 of repairs to properly fix the cause of my problem. Seems like the spray has worked as well as it claims to!
