Q: Would the mattress be OK stored in the garden shed, inside of this bag without worrying about the weather damaging the mattress?

I am just debating the same question with myself. The bag is really good nice quality. Strong with good handles but as far as I can tell it’s not waterproof so maybe in the shed could possibly go mouldy. I am going to try mine I think in the garage. Personally for a shed I would buy one of the cheap plastic bags and tape it up then maybe put it in the other bag. Hope this helps

Not sure if it’s fully waterproof but we stored our mattress in our attic and had a leak but didn’t damage the mattress.

Q: Which option is suitable for a king size mattress?

I suggest you measure the mattress as the height might vary even if it is king size
