These batteries are similar in size and offer similar performance to the OEM batteries. They don't generate any nag messages or errors in the camera, nor do they get oddly hot or otherwise seem less than the OEM batteries. The price is a great savings, and having a spare (or two) is a huge plus when shooting with a proprietary battery. These days SD card storage is so cheap and so big that you really never run out of space in the field, but batteries are the new limiting factor (ala film), so grabbing a spare battery is a great idea. I don't hesitate to use these in my Panasonic DMC-FZ150K 12.1 MP Digital Camera with CMOS Sensor and 24x Optical Zoom (Black), but I still tend to use the OEM as my primary and these as backups. I didn't bother with screen protectors, so I cannot comment at all about them. The microfiber seems nice enough, but I haven't used it yet.

These batteries don't even work. The seller claims they work with a Panasonic fz80. The camera light flashes red when these batteries are placed in camera... indicated a problem. Batteries won't charge. Stock battery works fine. These batteries I bough aren't even the right voltage or mah to match up with the stock....I'm in Europe with no extra batteries now... thanks.

Nope. Not 1700 mAh like the box says. Batteries don't hold a candle to the Panasonic 900 mAh battery that comes with the camera.I guess I shouldn't be surprised. How can you pack nearly double the mAh's in the same size Lithium Ion battery case?Nevertheless, I took the product description on faith and was disappointed. Back they go.

Received my batteries today and very pleased. Seller "Big Mike's Electronics" sent 1700 mAh Li-Ion batteries, more capacity/better than I was expecting. (Also made in China, as many are these days). Other generics have worked very well in my Panasonic Lumix FZ47, these should be even better. And actually, the fine print on box says "5 year limited warranty". I hope.

Yo-These batteries are one hella deal. They last about 70% longer than the Panasonic battery that came with the camera - and at far less than half the price of the OEM's - it makes them quite the bargain!

So far so good. In the past, some supposedly 'identical to original' batteries turned out to have about a third the charge capacity of the originals. I've been using one of these in the camera and it's doing well so far, hence the four stars. If it has the staying power of the original battery, the star count goes up to five. Incidentally, the little cleaning cloth and the protective film for the camera's video display were a very nice touch, and the overall price was very attractive.
