The design is super cute and the reel works well; however, the design fell off after a week and a half.

I wear badge reels for work, so I got this to wear leading up to St. Patrick's Day. The badge reel is made of acrylic and is clear in the shape of a shamrock. Inside the acrylic shape are these green shiny confetti pieces making the shamrock not completely see through but not filled either. I didn't care for that. I wish it was more filled in. The word "lucky" is imprinted on the badge reel which is nice touch to make it look more like St. Patrick's Day. The base sits on a swivel clip so it's really easy to attach it to clothing. Overall, good quality!

One of the things that amazed me about the retractable cord was how smoothly it extended and retracted. Just the correct amount of resistance is required in order to pull my identification badge in the direction of the scanner. It should not be so loose that it flops awkwardly, but it should also not be so rigid that it snaps back with too much effort. steady after being subjected to dozens of badge scans in rapid succession during a hectic morning round, the spring mechanism continues to glide in a calm and steady manner, with no indications of slowing down or being jammed. With this steady performance, I am able to concentrate on providing treatment to patients rather than fumbling with a reel that is resistant to change. Furthermore, the acrylic housing that has green glitter and a four-leaf clover pattern gives a cheery touch to my outfit. This is in addition to the fact that it is functional. It has come to my attention that my coworkers sometimes glance at the glitter during handoffs, which often results in a humorous remark about "bringing extra luck" to our organization. Even after being subjected to sanitizing sprays on a regular basis and washing one's hands often, the glitter continues to be securely implanted under a transparent surface, giving it the ability to withstand scratches and keep its shine. The reel seems to be almost as brilliant as it did on the first day, even after being cleaned many times throughout each shift.
