perfect every time
Can't screw up a hard boiled egg. I've heard that a lot, I was ashamed to say that I often did, screw up a hard boiled egg.Either it was too runny, or burned. Yes you can burn a hard boiled egg. This little contraption has made my life complete. I put my daily 7 hard boiled eggs in, pour the water into the lower basin, cover and hit the button, 18 minutes later, voila, my eggs are perfect. Being on my Keto/atkins diet, these eggs keep me feeling full all day long, perfect as a to go snack. I usually dump them all into a ziplock, dash of lemon pepper, siracha and some soy and garlic salt and boom. I'm good to go all day. Anyways, I ramble. Can't go wrong, Mine didn't come with instructions so I emailed them, one minute later its in my hands, great service to boot. Just a heads up, be sure to pierce each egg with the enclosed pin, I didn't pierce one all the way through and it cracked in half. Not a big deal but just something to watch out for. Enjoy.

Great poached eggs
I enjoy poached eggs but always struggle with the boiling point versus the amount of time needed for poached eggs, but this machine takes the guesstimating away. It is effortless to use by pouring various amounts of water at the bottom of a pan-like surface, depending on how many eggs you are cooking at the time. A chart tells you how much and how long to cook your eggs depending on whether you want hard-boiled (Great for Easter) or soft-boiled (poached), and how many you are cooking at one time. It can also be used for steaming veggies, but I have not had it that long so I've not used that feature. Cleaning is a matter of wiping the water droplets off the plastic cover. There were many of these types of machines to choose from, and they all seemed to have the same features, which don't require many to function, so I went with this one due to price and aesthetics. I highly recommend purchasing the SANJIANKER XB-EC06, 14 egg capacity cooker.

The cup to poke eggs is a joke
This could be a pretty good product. I like that you can cook up to 14 eggs at a time. However, the cup to poke the eggs has a plastic piece to poke the eggs. Really! What makes the creator of this item think that plain plastic will poke easily through eggs. I got the plastic piece to work but it broke the eggs rather than just poke a small hole in the eggs. All other egg steamers I have ever owned have always used metal to poke the eggs, which make sense so you get a clean poke of the egg rather breaking apart the egg. I had to use a parry knife to get a small hole in the eggs. The manufacturer needs to redo the cup.

Works exactly as it should but could use better instructions and measuring cup
This works as well as I could have expected. I mostly use this for hard boiled eggs. A dozen at a time for use in egg salad and both times they came out perfect. There are a couple things that could be improved and the are not about the egg cooker itself. First off are the instructions. My unit did come with the updated instructions but this is where the first improvement could be made. The updated instructions to hard boil eggs state to use 140ml of water for 1 dozen hard boiled eggs. The problem here is that the measuring cup included does not show any ml numbers. The first time I just filled the included measuring cup and the eggs cooked fine, but they were next to impossible to peel as the white part of the egg was coming off with the shell. I ended up just tossing the eggs to the squirrels outside. On my second try I used a measuring cup that was provide with another appliance I had that did have the ml measurement and with 140ml of water the eggs came out perfectly hard boiled and easy to peel. This is when I discovered that the measuring cup included with this only holds about 80 ml of water when filled to the very top...please start including a measuring cup that will actually allow you to measure out the 140ml of water that will be needed to cook a full 14 eggs that this will handle. Not everyone will have another measuring cup with ml measurements. The second thing is that the egg piercing took at the bottom of the cup is pointless. I tried multiple times to pierce the bottom (top part when putting on the tray top down). It simply does not work so I never pierced them and with the right amount of water it didn’t matter as they peels easily.Overall I would recommend this egg cooker, especially at the price I paid. Just be aware that the included measuring cup/piercer just don’t make it possible to follow the updated instructions as there are no ml measurements on it and a full cup of the include cup doesn’t even come close to the amount of water needed for 8-14 eggs but works perfectly if you are only using one of the racks (up to 7 eggs).

Works great and really good customer service!
My wife makes deviled eggs and my kids love to make ramen noodles, so the idea of a simple device to make hard boiled eggs seemed like a good idea. This cooker didn't cost all that much so we decided to give it a try. After a small hick-up with the first cooker (fantastic customer service BTW) our cooker arrived and to be honest we are quite impressed. It works great! It is simple to use, easy to clean, and makes really good hard boiled eggs. They peeled easiest of any hard boiled eggs we have made before. (And these were fresh eggs! -- Older eggs tend to peel easier)

Super Easy to use and clean
I bought it to replace my old one. my old has one layer and can only cook five eggs at a time. This one has larger capacity, I can cook seven or 14 eggs at a time. I can use top layer to steam small vegetables, warm up frozen bread, corn, or a small dish. This egg cooker is very easy to use, even my daughter could use it to prepare her own school lunch (egg salad and veggie, yes, in the picture). A single person’s breakfast or lunch can be easily done using this small appliance. It also has auto off function. I do not need to worry about it or wait there to turn it off. Once heating done, it shut off automatically. After use, I just put all parts above heating plate into dishwasher (top rack), and wipe clean the power heating plate.
