very enjoyable
Picked this up on a suggestion and it may take a game to get a handle on the rules and your own strategies but once you have an idea of how to play it is very enjoyable and easy to play. you only have 4 actions that you can take so makes it easy enough for anyone to learn but has the bluffing and strategy which will keep you playing to try and master. The artwork on the cards is beautiful and the quality of the cards is top quality and feel great to handle. The game as a whole isnt to big so easy to travel with not taking up much space.

Deceptively deep. Great artwork. Short games make it an easy game to play casually.
For a £10 game this is a good engaging game if you want to think about every move but simple if you don't. It seems very basic in how it plays at first, but it isn't easy to clock onto a winning strategy as it is well balanced. There is a strong sense that you have to read your opponent's moves rather than stick to the same strategy every game. It has a great mechanic that having good card in your hand could benefit your opponent more if you don't play them right. Good fun.

Simple game with lots of strategic depth
When I first saw this game I thought it looked a little involved for me, but actually the mechanisms are really easy to teach, the artwork is gorgeous and actually there is a lot of depth to this game. An absolute genius interpretation of the area control genre that is skillfully executed, a must have for any gamer or non gamer looking for a quick, easy to set up, fun to play game.

Pretty, easy to learn, but quite the mindbender...
I really like this game and it plays so quickly I can invite someone to play without worrying that they will get bored. It's a game based on the 'I cut, you choose' mechanic, whereby you know some of the cards in your hand are going to benefit your opponent (it's a 2 player game), so you are trying to figure out ways to get them to choose the cards you want them to have, and not the ones they really need. It's really smart! My only fear is that I ever get to the bottom of how the game works I will no longer be able to play with casual players. I have a feeling there is quite a bit of maths and probability in the game, and an expert player would likely beat an amateur hands down. At the moment, I've played it a few times and have introduced to three different people and every time it's been close, fun, and a bit of a brain-melt.Which is to say, great.Oh, and it looks lovely!

Wonderful small box game
Put simply this is a GREAT game. I'm a fan of longer, weightier games such as root however this hits the mark every time. Sets up quickly, plays quickly. Once you get it, you get it and you'll never forget how to play. It's really really smart, it looks great, everyone I've introduced it to loves it. The decisions are agonising and after the first round the strategy really deepens. If you're thinking about buying this, do it. Looks great, plays great.

Nice 2 player game
Artwork is fab. The game is great to play and does not take long to learn. The games are short and do not take up much room, so it’s an excellent travel game.

Great two player game
Played this with a friend for the first time one afternoon after work and enjoyed it so much I bought a copy on the way home. Beautiful linen finish cards with gorgeous artwork. Quality box, clear instructions. A good pick up and play card game.

Very enjoyable game
The subject matter is a bit peculiar but then of you are into Japanese games that won’t surprise or bother you. Game is straight forward yet the more you play the more tactics you can develop which keeps it very interesting
