Not quite right
Returned for being wrong size for the line I have. 3 stars because compared to others of this type it's flimsy and looks nothing like the photo.

Perfect match
I had a broken wheel lock on my army issued rucksack, I ordered a 6-pack of these and they are an exact fit. Pretty cool how they work.

It works
My Arctix rain pants (shown in photos) needed suspenders until I got this cord lock. The Arctix came with the spring type cord lock (one photo) that was useless. In locked position, the cord still slipped easily through. I cut that lock off and replaced it (the other photo) and this one works.I also put one of these on sweat pants that really needed a cord lock and on which I had tried adding a spring type cord lock. Those have a very different cord material, but this cord lock works there as well.The spring type ones are a bit more convenient when they work, but they only work when the cord is perfect for the lock (which didn't even happen when Arctix chose the lock for their pants design).This lock seems to work on a significant range of cord materials and thicknesses.

Too loose
They changed these recently. Now I have 100 of these that don’t even work with the paracord they sell. It’s too loose and the wheel locks don’t lock. I have to go buy larger paracord to make these work

Great Product, Bad Pics
This is a direct replacement for the drawstring on the top of my large ALICE rucksack. The original only lasted 30 years so this one has it's work cut out for it. So far, so good. I'll keep you posted if it fails. See picture if you are unsure how to use these.

Better Get It Right The First Time
Once installed, these guys work great. But you better get it installed correctly the first time. If install incorrectly for your wants, you have to destroy the unit to remove or live with the results.

Okay for small stuff
It’s okay if you’re just using to close a small bag. Won’t hold on draw string shorts.
