A Gentle Styling Essential
I purchased this hairspray for gentle styling and smoothing rather than for a strong hold. It's also suitable for use on both my own hair and human hair wigs.Pros:• Gorgeous scent• Great for gentle styling and smoothing• Suitable for both natural hair and human hair wigs• Decent size for the price• Fine particle spray so disperses wellCons:• Not strong enough for heavy hold (extra strong version may be more suitable for that purpose)• Cap is easily broken, making the product unusable once damaged

Well worth the money.
Very soft and gentle on hair, and when resting head on leather chair doesn’t eat into leather like cheaper hairsprays.

Shiny hair that stays in place
I am still very new to using hairspray and I have been doing a comparison test to see which make I like best.To date L’Oréal Elnett Shine is the winner because:-(1) The normal hold spray keeps my hair in place, but let’s it move naturally and gives my hair a natural look, not like I’ve got a hat on my head.(2) My hair doesn’t feel sticky or crunchy or stiff(3) It brushes out easily and leaves my hair feeling nice and clean. As I’m still getting used to hairspray I find sometimes I inadvertently run my fingers through my hair, this has the same effect as a brush, so I have to style / spray again.(4) Some of the sprays made my hair feel greasy and I needed to wash my hair, but this L’Oréal one doesn’t, if anything I can get a day more in between washes.(5) I like the security feature on the top of the canister, so you know it is an unused item (see photo).My only dislike is the smell, but that said none of the sprays I’ve tested have a particularly attractive smell.I think I have found the winner to my comparison test, L’Oréal Shine, the photo reflects this as I have brought the larger size can this time.
