Q: The package did not come with any instructions. I may be dense but I have no idea how to use them. Is there a video or a pdf showing how?

The method Johnwwillis describes is best. Drill the hole, feed wire through the hole, then insert into the wire vise, snug the vise up to the post, and tighten the wire. Here's a youtube video I found. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p390qV_6CQ0

Q: Why does the price jump so drastically for a larger quantity? Why not buy (2) 10 packs for $47.80 instead of the 20 pack for $106.57?

Wow, I see no reason not to buy 2 10 packs. I will say these work beautifully.

Q: Do they only work with 12.5 gauge wire?

No. 12.5 anchor vices only work with 12.5 wire. We sell a 15,16 gauge anchor vice and a 8,9,10 anchor vice that work on those respective wires

Q: do these work on monofilament line?

I think it would cut into the line creating a possible break.
