Quality Liftgate Struts at an Affordable PriceWe have a 2012 Kia Sorento LX 2WD 2.4L and these QiMox struts fit it perfectly. Easy to install! Once the back is opened about ⅓ of the way the struts kick in and the liftgate pops up. They have a lot of lifting power! Hope the last - time will tell. Will update if they have an untimely demise. These QiMox struts do seem to be well built when compared to the pair they replaced. The original stock kia struts (part# 81771-1U000) only lasted 4 years, the next pair of struts (purchased at advanced auto) lasted 6 years.They are really well priced! The lowest price we found for Kia struts (part# 81771-1U000) was $140/pair. Ouch! These QiMox struts purchased in July 2022 were less expensive than the pair we purchased at advanced auto 6 years ago ($22.90 vs $39.99). The same liftgate struts at advance auto are now $50.98/pair. Easy installation and good quality

These do exactly what they should and fit perfectly. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is there are no instructions for how to install. Found a video on youtube that explained how to remove the small clip before installing them but shouldn't of needed to do this.

It fitted and work correctly. They are easy to install but are a little bit tricky. The force of opening and closing its fine. Had it for almost 2-3 months and still working.

Don’t buy!! Installed on my Kia Sorento about 6 weeks ago and they already failed. Won’t hold up liftgate anymore.
