Lovely lovely
Bought as Christmas pressie for my chess-mad almost 8yr old godson. Well made, looks lovely, can’t find fault. He’ll love his grown-up set, and thankfully I will be able to keep the beautiful one I bought in Syria.

It's pretty good, but the king had the tops off the crown that had dropped off and needed to be glued back on, a bit disappointing.

Impressive chess set
Perfect chess board as a gift.Just a beautiful set, every piece is lovely with a gorgeous carved board lots of detail. Brought a few chess sets but this is the one ive most been impressed by.

Wasnt happy with inside all chess pieces where scatteredand looked cheaper and messy for a gift had to return

Had to give one star but deserves a fat zero The set came in a cheap looking cardboard box opened it small and flimsy. The pieces are small and very cheaply made this item is not worth 5 pounds never mind 17 pounds absolutely disgusting that the description is nothing like the item don't buy

Small board
I was very underwhelmed by this product. A lot smaller than i thought and the pieces feel very lightweight.The board functions well but if you want a high quality board, spend some more money.
