Rocks for Painting - Painting Rocks - Rocks for Rock Painting - 10 Rocks

Yup, I bought rocks from the internet. But in my defense, these are beautiful rocks, and perfect tiny canvases. They were carefully packed, and each one is no less than the 2 inches advertised. They’re nice and flat on each side, with really beautiful natural patterns on many of them that I’ll be able to incorporate into my paintings. I’ve seen a couple reviews mentioning they they’re “dusty” or something when received, like that’s an issue. Guys — they’re rocks that just got shipped around, it’s just a little powder. Relax and rinse them off with some soap and water, which will prep them for painting anyway. Anyway, love these, and will definitely buy again once ready for more.

I felt a little stupid paying for rocks but I found that these were very nice, round and super smooth--unlike the ones I could find just looking around. I will say they were a little smaller than expected but they worked well with acrylic paint. I might buy them again if I continue to paint rocks for kindness projects, etc. but they were expensive (around $2 a rock).

I just started rock painting so I wanted nice, smooth rocks and these were perfect. A few were a purplish shade which I loved but the rest were nice and white. The size varied a little bit but they were perfect for beginners getting into rock painting.

I liked that the rocks came just as they were advertised. They are flat enough for students to draw, write, or paint on them. They are smooth with no bumps. I am very satisfied with this product. The only thing I would change is the number of rocks that come in the package. I think it only came with about 10. For the cost, I would have like to have seen about 20 for that price. You can't have everything, huh? Overall, they are great!

These pebbles are small(1.5-2in), flat, round, smooth and have lighter colors, which is perfect for rock painting with posca pens. They are better than the stones that come in a rock painting kit for kids, which are randomly shaped, darker, and rough so they damage my fine line pens over time. I will definitely keep on buying these stones!

I had ordered these before and I don't remember them being this small, or they were not all this small. They were all super covered in a white fine dust/sand/powder something so I had to wash them first thing. They are nice and smooth for painting something small on though.

Nice quality and decent price, though I ended up finding a larger quantity for the same price later on through Tractor Supply locally. These were smaller and sanded, ready to paint. I used them to teach a class and make painted rocks for my Star Wars garden.
