I gave my sister one of my dad's old dryers as hers died and she wanted something that would last and that would work without a lot of the new gimmicks. After three years, the control knob cracked underneath and it would barely turn to allow setting selection. I looked up the model number on the manufacture website for a replacement knob and the updated part number matched the listed one on this item. I called the repair shop and they wanted 14USD for one knob and I would have to wait two weeks for delivery... so I checked here on Amazon. Two knobs for 10USD... a much better deal, so I just shipped them to her directly. She replaced it and it works better than the original... after about a month, she says she is glad that I solved her issue instead of letting her wait on her other half.... since she does several loads each day. I am rating these five stars as they fit well, they function well, and they were easy to install. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary...

I tried another replacement knob before these, and it didn’t fit at all, and I had to return it. The D was too big. But these fit my GE dryer perfectly. I had resorted to just using pliers, because the original completely broke, not ideal at all. Now my dryer tiptop working again, and these knobs not even have the reinforcement sleeve as well so hopefully should last a good long time. Plus you get two. I’m quite satisfied.

Easily replaced my original that was cracked This has an updated ring on the knob to prevent cracking in the future. Overall, this was a quick easy fix and the quality is suitable. Don’t hesitate to buy the two pack just to have on hand if you have GE appliances this looks like it would fit the washing machine which has four or five knobs Overall very happy with

These are fine looking knobs, but they just don't fit! The D shaped hole in the back is not the right size at all -- way too big. I suspect these knobs are supposed to be knocking off something else and the company that's making them mixed up the part number. They definitely do not replace the GE WE1M654.
