This jacket is really cute! It’s definitely made for small dogs, so if you have a large dog, there probably isn’t a size that will fit it. My dog usually wears a size Small, and I was concerned it would be too large for him. He’s a slender 11 pound Shih Tzu, but I followed the size chart and ordered size Large. It fits him perfectly. It’s fairly easy to put on him, but it does require him to lie on his back so I can fasten the snaps. If your dog isn’t comfortable lying still on its back while you dress it, that could be a problem. It’s not a heavyweight jacket. The outside material is fairly thin, and the fleece lining isn’t very heavy, but it’s nice and soft, and it will block the cold wind and rain. We live in central Texas where winters are generally mild, so it’s perfect for the few days we have that are in the 30’s and 40’s. It covers most of his back, and the cutout and ribbed material around his belly allow him to do his business without soiling it. He has short legs, and it doesn’t restrict him from walking. I haven’t washed it yet, so I can’t speak to that, plus it just arrived, so I don’t know yet how well it will hold up, but I’m optimistic. Reviews say it can be machine washed on gentle cycle in cold water and air dried, so that’s what I’ll do.

I have been purchasing all sorts of coats from all over the place trying to find one that was high quality, warm and actually fit my long-haired chihuahua but had 0 luck until I came across this one! And I gotta say... I LOVE THIS ONE! I'll just list off every reason I like it: 1. IT'S ACTUALLY WARM! No more shivering puppy! It's multiple layers: A very fluffy cottoney layer covering the entire inside of the coat, some small cloth layer after that and then finally, a leather-like material on the outside that blocks wind really well. So many of the other coats I had bought him were just flimsy, not even warm material but this one is really nice. There's also of course the big, fluffy faux fur around the neck. 2. IT ACTUALLY FITS! So I ordered the coat based on the weight of my little guy and it fits perfectly. I had gone through so many that were either too large or too small. This one works out perfectly for 1. his arms (not too tight or loose on the arms like others were) and 2. when he takes a pee, he doesn't pee all over the coat. It leaves a nice gap there so he can go to the bathroom without something blocking it. 3. It looks amazing! Now, as you can see from the pictures, he looks like one cooooool little guy :D A lot of the other coats I had him try were things like bright orange, brown etc. but this one actually makes him look like a little rockstar! I love it! And so does everyone that sees him in it :) It definitely draws attention and sparks a lot of conversations on regular walks so be prepared for that. Just a lot of people love the way it looks :) 4. Some of the other coats I bought had the stitching falling apart before I even put it on him. This one, however, looks like nice, high quality stitching. 5. Believe it or not, this coat (again, the best one I've purchased) is actually the cheapest I've purchased! I gotta say, due to my past experiences, I really wasn't expecting much here. But when it arrived and I actually put it on him (and took him for a walk in it), I was very pleasantly surprised. The one and only thing I would love to see changed is: My little guy wears a harness instead of a leash. I wish there was a small slit in the back that would allow the ring through. I had to cut my own and stitch it (that's how I saw that there was an added layer of warmth in there). Besides that though, I absolutely love it, and will be recommending it to my puppies little friends (parents anyway)!

I’m so surprised at how stylish and cute this jacket really is! The leather is so soft and the color is amazing on him! XXL fit perfect. I didn’t want to ruin it but I put a little slit in for the leash, got nothing but ooohs and aaahs on our walk.

cutest thing ever. very warm, fleece inside. i was surprised at the quality. it does run small. my chihuahua is about 5lbs and the XS just barely snaps closed on her chest. still kind of amazing. it feels like a real little leather jacket. totes worth it.

It fits my small dog perfectly without being too tight or bulky. The fur collar adds such a cute touch and keeps her warm on chilly days. I’ve already gotten so many compliments during our walks. Definitely worth it for anyone who loves to keep their pup cozy and fashionable! 🐾💕

Absolutely gorgeous, perfect fit, and soooo freaking cute!!! Definitely would recommend as a coat for your fur babies.

Sizing is messed up. I have a Maltipoo that weigh 10 odd. Bought a small and it was too small. Would fit no bigger than a Yorkie. Bought a medium and fit too big. Clearly not made in correct sizing. Waisted my time & money smh

Size runs small - my 25 pound pug barely fits in a 2XL. It’s a very nice jacket and looks super cute on all my pugs. My 22 pound pug snuggly fits in an XL.
