This "mane" is soft and simple, the cloth "ears" are cute and nicely sized, and the adjustable elastic face opening is soft and easy. My only complaint is that my Golden Retriever is the same color as his new "mane" and he thinks he IS King of the Household so he gets to decide how long he will get petted whenever he is wearing the mane. As with any fake fur fabric, this looks much fluffier and cuter if you shake it vigorously after taking it out of the package, as you would shake a new troll doll. For the money, well made and hours of fun!!

We MADE our dog wear it for a few hours to trick or treat. Lol.. he wasn't to happy! It's super warm!! And it stays!!! We didn't use the tail because it didn't want to stay on! The one thing I wish was different was there is no hoke for a leash. We cut a small hole and made due. But it was still worth it!

Ohhhh this is fun. The tail portion is kind of ridiculous as I can’t see how it would ever stay on...unless you used staples....which I would never do. So, we can agree that the tail portion is basically useless. But the main part is hilarious, looks great, and stays in place pretty well. We will be using this for many more Halloweens

This works okay but is not as high quality as a previous purchase of a similar product on Amazon. The reason is a sewing line along the edge of the mane that makes it look fake. It should have hidden stitching and a natural edge to the mane. I picked some hair out to cover it a little but it still doesn’t look great.

I needed a lion costume for our school circus themed event. The costumes were very expensive, and would arrive past the date I would need the costume for. I saw the dog costume online and read that a few people had actually used it as part of their own costume. I am glad I purchased it. It was super cute! The only thing that was a tad bit irritating, was that the fur fell easily when repositioning the piece. Overall, It was great for the one time use!!

this has two strings that are supposed to tighten up but only one of them would cant get it to look right

This mane is great! It is super simple to put on, basically just a big sleeve that you pop over your dog's head then tighten the drawstring around the face. I'm not sure how the little tail piece is supposed to stay on, but I'm sure our pup would pull it off immediately anyway. We had a good laugh seeing her dressed up. 😂 Definitely worth the ten bucks.

This costume was adorable, I loved it. My only complaint is trying to get the mane to stay on. If your dog doesn't like having anything on it's head you may have a problem. To get the mane to stay on you have a draw-string that tightens around the dogs head and neck. With our dog he would shake his head and it would fall down. Once he got use to it, it stayed on. For the price its a great buy and worth the slight annoyance of having to fix the mane
