Such a great book!
I was drawn to regression work the minute I read about it and was a huge factor in my choosing to be trained by OMNI. This volume makes it even easier for me to grasp. My Hunter's writing style is well laid out and I feel much more prepared for my sessions. I enjoyed it so much, I bought his other book on Parts.

Excellent for hypnotherapists
This book is an excellent one for anyone doing age regression hypnotherapy, particularly those just starting. The co-authors give important information from years of professional experience, relate it in a lucid manner, and convey their deep concern for clients. Examples from their experience are very helpful, as is their transcript of a regression session in an Appendix.Along with an Index, the Table of Contents is particularly thorough and arranged in an outline form that will make the book a particularly useful and easy-to-use reference. One of the best TOCs I've ever encountered.

Regression that is easy to follow and clear explanation
I found the book very informative and helpful. I have been interested on learning more about regression and how it could help people who needed to find out the cause of some of the problems they had and this book is very good in giving easy to follow steps for hypnotherapist. It is well written and the author is very knowledgeable on the topic.

Very useful guide for those in practice
I have found 'The Art of Hypnotic Regression Therapy' to be a very useful clinical guide for conducting my hypnotherapy practice. C Roy Hunter continues to produce excellent books in this field. Whereas this is not quite as good as his 'Art of Hypnosis', it has much to offer in terms of presenting a very clear model of the four primary objectives of hypnotherapy:1. Suggestion and Imagery2. Discover the cause3. Release (emotional attachment to the cause)4. Subconscious relearning. The author gives authoritative direction and technically interesting explanation at each stage in the process and takes pains in explaining how to avoid the major pitfall in this approach ... the recovery of false memories by incorrect or inadvertent leading of the client in the hypnotic state. The conceptual framework on offer still leaves plenty of scope for individual preference and style in actual implementation.I would recommend this book particularly to those who are seeking to enhance their therapeutic repertoire and to help meet their requirements for Continuous Professional Development (CPD).About the Reviewer:Chris Allen is a practicing hypnotherapist and full member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis for many years. He is also the author of the following books which are available on Amazon: Reality Shaper: The Quantum Detective -- his latest novel The Beam of Interest: Taken by Storm Hypnotic Tales 2013: Some Light Some Dark Call of the Void: The Strange Life and Times of a Confused Person: 1Reality Shaper: The Quantum DetectiveThe Beam of Interest: Taken by StormHypnotic Tales 2013: Some Light Some DarkCall of the Void: The Strange Life and Times of a Confused Person: 1

A good starting point, to get you going :)
A good read, nothing I didn't know already, but if you are new to this type of working with hypnosis, then this is a good place, to gain some insight into it. It's written really well, and flows nicely. The use of regression, to get to the bottom of a person's problems, is a great tool to have, in your hypnotherapy arsenal!!..Buy read, absorb and enjoy..

The master of safe regression
A good book for the professional therapist. Stresses the importance of safety and the pitfalls of leading the Client to dangerous conclusions and assumptions. Highly recommend.

Great informative read back up by years of experience.
Great book with years of experience being shared in a very informative manner. Multiple methods shared for the same outcome goal, giving the reader their own personal preferences if they should choose to follow these applied methods of therapy.
