Synchronic symphony
Synchronicity is important, even if people don't recognize it as such. But the authors went way overboard in the ending chapter, including following the urban myths surrounding Confucius and the Yi Ching. How awful that they could screw up a good rendition of synchronicity with foolishness and the legitimatizing of the Tarot, astrology and the mis-identification of the Yi Ching, none of which have anything to do with reality or synchronicity. However, until the final section, this is a well written, worthwhile book.

A very worthy read...
For anyone seeking to perceive the mechanics of life on a deeper level, there is something in this book for everyone. One could say this is science, the paranormal or the bridge between both disciplines. There are things here that we have all experienced in ourselves, but for whatever reason may be reluctant to talk about. One is reminded of themes in the writings of such giants as Neils Bohr and Lyall Watson. It is well worth the modest price of the book.

Boring and uninformative
The authors do a review of the trickster in world mythology and try to relate synchronicity exclusively to the trickster teaching a lesson based on subconscious material. Synchronicity has so many more facets. I found this book both boring and uninformative. Bad combination.

Extending the experience of being human
I have never been more drawn to another perspective of our everyday reality. This books helps to open our attitudes to the human experience which is denied by the ordinary and the language which describes it.

The forward on this book has been written by Robert Robertson - a magician, mathematician, psychologist and a writer. I shall quote him here - "...this is still the best book on the subject, the only book which deals equally well with both the scientific underpinnings of synchronicity, as well as the archetypal dimension that underlies all synchronistic occurrences."
