Works as intended. Perfect to detect low level in grill propane tank.
Empty propane tank is 20# and this will weigh up to 28. Easy to check when refill is due, although you'll probably have to add a string to hook on to the tank.

Tape measure broke 1st time I tried it!
Tape measure broke and came completely out first time I used it. I have had other identical ones for years in other tackle boxes that this has never happened to. Quality nowadays must be poorer. Cannot return it so I’m stuck with it.

Small scale for limited space
The hook is really small to support the fish lip so you have to improvise with a plastic bag or net to weigh the fish

My son wanted something easy and this fit the bill. He has had no issues with this pocket scale. He said it has worked flawlessly

Great and practical
Get little scale. It may not read to the ounce but be honest you really don't need it to because if the fish is over a certain weight you're going to take it in to get a official weight on it to get your citation anyway. No battery needed ever and a tape measure built in. This is my second one. I got the last one in the early 80s. That's dependability.

Great gift for a young fsherman
Bought for Christmas gift for my grandson. Granddad who is a fisherman had an older model and saw this one and now I am ordering another one.

It is what it is, I paid around $10 for it and think I over spent.If it was 4-5 dollar range then that would have be more on target.
