This book comes from one of the most renowned Islamic scholars in the world. He has written more than 400 books on different aspects of Islam including Islamic socio-economic order, Islamic banking system, tragedy of Karbala and so on. The present work deals with the characteristics of mercy in our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the most analytical, forceful and formidable manner. The author beautifully points out that Almighty God mentions the word 'mercy' in an indefinite form to indicate its comprehensiveness and generality. He also points out that this mercy was a gift to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) straight from Almighty God and it operates at all the planes of existence as it is a mercy in the religion and mercy in the world. Prophet Muhammad' s(SWA) mercy encompasses the entire creation: humans and the jinns, believers and disbelievers, young and old, good and bad, righteous and wicked, lofty and lowly, open and hidden etc. The use of the word "Worlds" encompasses the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them. Having already read a number of books on Prophet Muhammad (SWA) such as 'The Sealed Nectar' by Saifur- Rehman Al- Mubarakpuri, 'The Infinite Light' by Fateullah Gulen, 'The Messenger' by Tarique Ramadan, 'Muhammad ' by Karen Armstrong, 'Khadija' (RTA) by Resit Haylamaz, 'The Luminous Life of our Prophet(PBUH) by Resit Haylamaz and 'The First Muslim' by Lasley Hazelton, I found this book unique in its presentation, articulation, style, references and contours. It is certainly a valuable read for all those who wish to know and understand the elements and aspects of mercy in the most Merciful (PBUH) amongst the Prophets and the humanity as a whole.
