Contact, light and easily portable, this sprayer is perfect for it's intended task. The homeowner or small wouldn't will find this exactly right. I'm not certain if it's durable enough for constant, commerce-level use. It's quite small. Maybe for painting the trim or something it would be sufficient. At any rate, it sprayed evenly and is very user-friendly and intuitive to operate. I had sprayed once before in my life about 15 years ago, but this machine made it quite easy. Incidentally, I was painting dark blue over white, and it covered in one coat whereas it took two when I used a roller. Cleanup is super easy, just run water (or solvent if oil based) through the system and voila! clean sprayer. Definitely a great purchase. *** Update: (forgot to post this): the hose started leaking so u called the manufacturer customer service and they offered -and I accepted - a replacement house at no charge. Very awesome customer service!!

We purchased this airless sprayer in order to spray paint our basement ceiling. It worked very very well, and we did not have any issues. It was very easy to follow the instructions and hook up the painter to a 5-gallon can. We painted for 3 hours and only had to clear the nozzle once. Cleanup is easy, a little messy but if you have buckets of water not an issue. I definitely agree that you should test with water first to insure no leaks. We avoided a catastrophe when the one smaller hose wasn't on tight and slipped off spilling water...not paint...all over the floor. The overspray is pretty significant. Tape and wrap everything or you'll be cleaning up a mess. Wear the appropriate eye safety wear and masks. Wear a shower cap and clothes you don't care about. Turn off your a/c or heater. I wouldn't wear shorts or a tshirt. Any exposed skin will be coated.

This thing is a horse. I had several hundred yards of fence to paint. It took me four days to paint 1/4 of it with brush and roller. I had enough of that. With this product I finished the job in two days. It easily guzzled 15 gallons of solid colored stain per day and spat out a fine, evenly distributed spray. In areas where the wood was rough and very weathered I still used a roller to ensure even distribution and penetration, but applying paint with the gun and rolling it out is much quicker than dipping and rolling, Also the spray gun gets nooks and crannies much easier than a brush. Complete disassembly and cleaning of the spray gun and internal filter was essential in keeping the spray gun performing well. I thought I'd paint the deck next year, but I have time to get it done now. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the safety fell off after the second day. Otherwise, this is a great product at a great price.

I am a 50yo woman painting the exterior of our three story house with no prior experience. This week I painted one whole side and it was a breeze! I practiced last weekend by re-staining our deck with it and I'm glad I did that first. I stained the whole deck in an hour. Cleanup takes at least a half hour but is not hard. I highly recommend a website: howtopaintyourhouseright.com. It has all the videos I needed to do the job. Now I will be saving $8,000 by doing it myself! I think the biggest tip (which would have saved me time) is to first pour your paint through a mesh bag and into another bucket. There are bags for this at the paint store, but I used a mesh laundry bag that I already had. The paint had clogged the intake and the machine wouldn't work until I did this. Now the sprayer works flawlessly. I was able to leave the sprayer overnight with the paint in it with no problem so I didn't have to clean it two days in a row. The second day it sprayed just fine from the start. I did purchase on amazon a second 50 ft hose. It was definitely needed for my tall home. Another helpful thing I did was keep the paint bucket and the sprayer in a wagon. That way I could keep everything relatively flat, and it was easy to quickly roll it all in and out of the garage when it rained. By the way, a sudden rain storm did not ruin the fresh paint. So yes, I am very happy with this machine in every way.

First the sprayer came missing a part. I called manufacturer and they were going to overnight it. The envelope came the next morning but the envelope was empty. Because we had a deadline and needed to complete the project I went and bought the part at a local hardware store. We got everything set up to spray but gun leaked extremely bad from the trigger and nozzle. Tighten as tight as we could with Vice grips but still leaked. Cleaned everything out but still leaked. We wrapped a towel around the gun so we could try to spray but the nozzle just spit globs of the primer on our camper that took us a week to sand. We ended up having to roll out all the extra primer with a roller. Called manufacturer again and was told that sprayers leak sometimes and that this was an outdated model that they no longer sell. The problem with that statement is that they are the seller so why are they selling an outdated product on Amazon?! I went and bought another brand of sprayer locally and it did not leak!!! It worked like a charm. Don’t waste your time and paint! Between the part I bought and the wasted primer, this was a very costly mistake for us. We have Prime so I was able to returned the piece of junk sprayer.

They were quick to act and replaced the sprayer immediately! It's worked great and has saved us a ton of time on our place! I highly recommend this! Shipping was fast but when opened box the sprayer was sitting on top of collapsed part that I believe should have gone on top. I would like to have gotten a hold of the merchant privately but did not see a way to do that but cannot accept condition and missing pieces... so had to post here. Opened the box with spray nozzle in and the saddle and seal are missing, as well as the replacement filter, replacements stain tip, pump repair kit, this is what I know of... not sure if other things are missing. The clear tube appears to have dried paint on part of it and the chrome looks like it has a bunch of handprints all over it. We wouldn't have minded if it was used if we knew that from beginning and at a much lower cost. But to also have parts missing and somewhat dirty is not acceptable. So unfortunately we can't even review the sprayer because it is missing a part that is needed. Hoping that Amazon will get this rectified.
