Very good reference book to carry in your camera bag
The book is very good quick reference guide. The book is going to assume you know your basic photography. Now with that said think of this as a recipe book for engagement and some wedding day photos of the bride and groom. With this book you can find 3 to 4 poses and them and learn to repeat them for success. Also a helpful discussion on prime lens and why the photographer uses them.

If you're a beginner with absolutely no experience with posing then this book can be very useful for you. However, one should be made aware that this relies on a very formal (stiff) posing style, which to me, was very evident. For example, a woman's tight grip on her man's arm on page 65 and an awkward "look away from the light" pose on page 68, which just makes things feel a little contrived. I feel... and it's just a feeling... that rather than engaging with a couple on a more personal level for a more natural feel, a lot of the time, posing was very controlled, resulting in photos that LOOK posed. And there's nothing wrong with that if that's what you're going for, but if you want a more natural feel then you might find this too restricting. Overall though, a good, quick read with some good tips on basic photographic practices.
