Best paper for sanding wood, hands down!
After going through four other brands of 60 and 80 Grit, we decided to purchase the Mirka Gold. We used the paper on an air rotary palm sander to sand our Log Home. I saw an earlier review someone wrote who stated they used it for their log home, so we decided to try it. I couldn't be happier with how this paper performs! It held up six times better than the other brands we used. For every six sheets I used of Nort**, I used one sheet of the Mirka. The finish on our house is INCREDIBLE. Winter has crept in on us, so I finished only 2/3rds of the 3600 sq ft log home, but the Mirka made at least that much possible because I didn't have to stop and change the paper every three minutes. It cuts beautifully, does not clog, did not fray around the edges, and did not gloss. It did exactly what I needed it to do, and quickly. We have about 60 sheets left (I ordered two boxes, expecting to use every last one). My partner does body work as a hobbyist, and the leftovers will be in his shop. I am unsure how it performs on automotive metals, but for a solid pine log home, it was exceptional. I used the 80 grit of Mirka for the Cedar window and garage trim, and it worked beautifully as well.

Great sandpaper
It sticks well to the pad and is easy to remove from the box. The discs do not stay sharp as long as some more modern abrasives, but the price is accordingly.

good stuff - good price
decent sandpaper - really find it very good for the price. I've had no problems really - might not last as long as the Norton stuff I was using in the past but seems as good as 3M stuff. I've bought other grits and the ported discs fr vacuum use and they have all been consistent. I'll definitely use them again.

sand paper disk
I have been wood working for most of my life (63). I have bought many different brands of disk sandpaper, mostly from local stores. I have never before found one that is as even and cuts as well as the Mirka disks, The real selling point for me is the evenness of the sanding marks. It makes it much easier to use the next grade up to remove the sanding scratches. Going from one grade to the next produces a perfect finish without left over deep scratches from the rougher grade paper. I also use Porter Cable paper and it is a very close second in quality. I highly recommend this product.

Costs twice as much as the cheap junk, but lasts 4 times longer. You do the math
The best sandpaper in the world, imo. Twice as much as the cheap junk, but lasts 4 times longer. You do the math...

Great quality
Very nice paper. Highly recommend, last long and sticks very well. Gets the job done and is packaged well with easy one disc dispense. Highly recommend.

Daisy Chain?
These disks are packed with the adhesive exposed and each is linked to the next by a plastic ribbon of some sort. This is just awkward. These are not tissues that I am pulling one after another, so I fail to see the advantage of such a quick-pull feature. The disks seem to have minimal adhesive and often fly off the sanding disk base. Next time I would much prefer individually stickered disks with more adhesive. I would pay a bit more for that.

I needed a heavier weight paper for sanding aluminum. These seem to work well and are of excellent quality.
