Plant wall of my dreams brought to life
So here’s the whole run down of how I made this plant wall over my bed: I went to Home Depot and bought black wall hooks with anchors since I was using this on drywall. There was one maybe 2 holes that felt like I hit a stud so I just screwed in the hook without the anchor on those like the guy at Home Depot instructed me to do. There’s instructions on the back of the packaging for which drill bit to use to drill the hole for the anchor & whatnot. I then hung the planter and went to town adding all the plants I got for the project! I’m adding grow lights to my ceiling fan to supplement and might buy some battery operated grow lights if those aren’t adequate enough. I think I’m gonna also go to Micheal’s and grab some dark green felt to staple to the black patchy spots just to fill it in. Otherwise it does great so far! I’m keeping the plants in their nursery pots for the sake of watering schedules. THE ONLY ISSUE I RAN INTO is that there ended up being a gap in the middle between the 2 planters from the pots stretching out the sleeves. I used 6” nursery pots and they fit perfect and snug. 4” pots I had to add styrofoam I had lying around to prop the plant up. I only bought 2 4” plants because I really wanted them and the nursery only had 4” available for that plant. ANYWAYS what I did to fix the gapping issue is I recycled an old pair of tennis shoes and shoe laced the sides together as tight as I can. Might reinforce with zip ties or add green felt fabric when I get around to it but the laces honestly did the trick for the most part. So yeah. Wanted to mention all of that. Lovely set up.

Good
Works great…but only if you have small plants…the pockets are not too big…but really nice material because no root rot with how the water goes down to the lower strip on the bottom that’s also easy to remove. Also you wanna get full plants if you want the same effect in the photos

Get it!
This is pretty awesome. It is everything I'd hoped it would be. I built the frame with some fence boards and a 2x4. The only issue is that the middle of the bottom folds down after watering and needs to be secured in an upright position somehow to prevent leaking. It would be better if it were already attached. It would also be nice to have a center loop on the top as an additional point for hanging to prevent sagging.

Easy project
Used 3 of them. Easy to hang just got some screws and washers. I picked this “inside” one even though it’s outside to keep moisture off the fence and the size of the pockets. Used 1 gallon plants (all grasses) had to do some breaking up of the bottom parts of the plants to get it to fit, probably made for slightly smaller plants but I wanted it to look full right off the bat. Would definitely recommend this product, but I would warn that it is not cheap to fully fill these out (12 pockets each and I originally bought four but abandoned one as I started filling the cart), something that I didn’t really consider until I was walking through the nursery. But that is generally how I find myself in DIY projects, that being said it looks good and would have cost 3-4 times as much for a professional one.

Great addition to my room
I bought this product 2 years ago for my classroom. I put plants that tolerate low light in it and it adds beauty to the room. I actually put a plastic solo cup in each pocket and put the plant pots inside the cups so there's no problem with leakage, although it is a sturdy plastic/vinyl so that may not be necessary. The pots tend to tip forward in the pockets so I do need to be careful when I water them to not spill water out of the front of the pot. Would highly recommend this product.

Not waterproof
It's a nice way to display succulents, herbs, etc, but it definitely is not for indoor use because it's not at all waterproof. It leaks every time I water. Good thing I tried it out on my porch first.

Looks Good inside
I like this product. I have it inside hanging on a wall. The plants are in small containers that I put in the pockets of the hanging wall garden. I water them and all the water goes to the water reservoir at the bottom and I am able to empty it by holding a bucket under while I pull down on the middle of the reservoir to help it empty out into the bucket. This product creates a nice touch to any space indoor or out.

Live wall
So far, I love it!!! I added my plants and waiting for them to grow and fill up. 6 inch pots don’t really fit in the space that well, but you can fit 2 of the four inch pots…not a fan of the bottom area where the water collects, it’s not aesthetically pleasing. Trying to figure out how to cover it. I did fit a large number of plants which opened room for more plants on the opposite wall…will update review later once the plats have established.
