Sent to my Brother for Christmas
We grew up about 45 minutes from Canada. Spent so much time there skiing in the winter and at the lakes in the summer. This toffee was something we bought every trip because it was so good. You can’t purchase it in the states.I sent it to my Brother as a fun sentimental Christmas present. It actually brought tears to his eyes and he’s shared that moment with several of his childhood friends we grew up with. This was a really special moment. Thank you!

The best
Mackintosh's Toffee has been pulling fillings out of my teeth since I was a kid. Too bad for the fillings. This is a great product. Be sure to try freezing it and then hit it flat on a countertop to break it into pieces. YUM!

More flavor less crunch please
When I was younger, and it came in a box that looked just like the wrapper it’s in now, the toffee was chewier. And the flavor isn’t as strong as it used to be. If I let it sit in my mouth before I start chewing it it does taste better and it’s good but it’s not the same.

Not Creamy Toffee!
I should have read all the reviews more carefully because others had the same issue. The label says "original creamy toffee" but it is not! It is a toffee that is so hard you cannot bite it or cut into it. This is not the chewy toffee I had in Canada many times over the past 50 years. I feel my money has been stolen because the product is non-returnable although it is obviously defective and not as advertised.

A true classic.
One of my favorite candies that you can only get inIn Canada. They can be a little expensive they are not soft unless you wore them up, but they taste great.

Just how we remember them
My mom was from Canada and would put these in our stockings for Christmas. She would have a friend from Alberta bring or send them to her. I bought these for my sister for Christmas since our mom is gone and it's been years, probably 10 at least since we had them. She was so excited and immediately put them in the freezer to shatter later. I don't know if other people do that but that's how we were raised to eat them. She said they were perfect. My only complaint is these aren't as big or thick as the ones we used to get that came in boxes when we were kids. These ones are in a plastic wrap. Otherwise perfect and brought back happy memories.
