Krtopo Oil Filter Wrench 53mm - 108mm Diameter Removable Filter Universal Car Tool Black

Got this to remove the oil filter from my Moggie when servicing as not any room for screwdriver removal trick. Worked a treat. Will only use once a year or so, so it should see me out.

Okay so anyone who's worked on a car knows that both oil filters and fuel filters are to be oiled on the seal and to be done up hand tight only.. Well someone never told my mechanic as when he did the fuel filter on my car he must have used a filter wrench and the thing would not come off! I tried by hand, using things to aid grip, even using a belt to make a makeshift strap wrench.. No good. Wouldn't budge, so I ordered this and my goodness.. The harder you turn the wrench with this on the harder those three prongs bite into the canister until.. Boom! The filter began to come undone. Literally could not have done the job without this and unlike a strap wrench or chain one, this works when there is limited space and does a massive range of filter sizes. Worth its weight in gold and will be a very valuable tool that I shall always use when servicing my car.

This worked when nothing else did and was therefore a vital purchase to remove a very old and far too tightly fitted oil filter.That said the device could have done with more gears in order to reverse the action of the jaws. These clamp on the back edge rather than the leading edge and therefore tend to slip. This makes the device fiddly to use and not particularly logical.

Just the job when there was no way I was getting the oil filter off by hand. Would recommend, no effort with this tool

Bought this oil filter wrench to remove a 65mm motorcycle oil filter. There was not enough space around the filter for the three prongs on the tool to rotate with the filter and they bound up on the engine sump. It also bit into the filter body and was going to make a hole in the filter letting out the old oil. Messy.I am sure as a multi purpose tool it will have any number of applications but not on my motorcycle. Oil filter cup wrench did the job at half the price.

I dont usually leave many reviews but, felt like this was a must! So impressed with this tool. Struggling to get my oil filter off.. (which is why it looked damaged in the picture).. i previously tried oil filter pilers and a strap.. neither worked. I was at a point where i was going to drill a hole and use a screw driver.. but before that i tried this wrench.. and with one easy pull it came off..! Id recommend, as ive done putting some grippy tape on the end so it grips the filter better.. works a treat and such value for money!!

i was stuck, and could not remove my oil filter, I had tried several tools, this product performed amazing. as it should, I won't bother with other tools in the future.

They really are very good for gripping and removing oil filters, especially when the filters are still hot.
