I didn’t get any growth
I didn’t get a single flower to come up. Don’t know if it was all the Kentucky rain we had and it took awhile to start heating up. Maybe next year; I’ll give it a try again next year.

Nothing germinated while directly sown outdoors…

Long wait but sweet reward
We got these seeds in early April, planted them right away under the lights and got the growth very quickly. In May we replanted the seedlings outside, and they looked like weeds for over 2 months. We were about to write a negative review, like some others, but decided to wait. At the end of July they started shooting out the buds and finally around August 8 they started giving us gorgeous straw flowers. This is our first time planting them, and we had no idea about the long wait. Tomorrow is September 1, and our garden is filled with straw flowers of many colors. They are are very tall and bloom in twos or threes. See the photos. We love them, they also dry beautifully.
