Comes in a sturdy case, handle is wooden - seems less likely to slip out of your hand, blades are standard and sharp, rasp functions well. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised with this purchase. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

It kind of looks like a bunch of companies make these, but this is the one I got. It’s amazing. I have a really thick callus that my wife’s pedicure file wasn’t able to touch. She told me I would have to get a pedicure. Cleverly, I decided to buy a ten dollar shaver off the internet instead. When it came, I was a bit nervous about taking a razor blade to my feet, but it’s actually just like shaving your face; I really went after it pretty hard and I didn’t feel in danger of cutting myself. It took that super thick callus off really easily, and now I can feel part of my foot I haven’t felt in years. Anyway, wife stole my new callus shaver and says it’s hers now. It’s amazing, it’s easy to use, it’s way cheaper than like a pediegg or something, and my feet are baby soft.

High quality shaver and the kit is wonderful and contains extra blades and supplies. The shaver was a bit scary looking and different from my cheap plastic one that broke. But it shaves very gently in thin strips. So you can control how dad to go. Just don’t press too hard and you’ll be safe.

It seems pretty ergonomic, the mini file inside the handle is a super cool feature, a design I've never seen before. It's definitely safe for buffing your skin, however, it's almost too safe for my preference, I wish it were just a bit rougher in the grain/texture so I felt like it was taking more skin off. I use a rougher file first and then come back in with this one help smooth everything down even finer and softer.

This is the only shaver type of callous remover that effectively removes my thick callouses. It’s comfortable as long as you soak your feet and warm water to soften skin, press lightly and use common sense. The blades are very sharp so they do work but start with a light scrap. Safe to use if you do not have medical problems like risk of infections or bleeding.
