Very useful cane. Nice quality.

This is a great cane,very well made and has the most comfortable grip of any cane I have ever owned and I have owned a few. I also own and use the Hurrycane and I like it as well but this cane is a bit sturdier and fits your hand like a glove and stands just about anywhere. The quad bottom is a bit stiff at first until yo learn how to walk with it. Unlike the Hurrycane that has a pivoting ball joint at the bottom the Hugo Quadpod is quite stiff but with practice you get used to it.When you walk you have to learn to put the rear of the Quadpod down first then roll it onto the front pads but once you are used to it it works great and feels great in the hand.This cane has a very sturdy feel that is superior to any other cane I have ever used, it just makes you feel very stable and in control of your balance.As to the logo on the cane shaft, I like the look of it, listening to all of the complaints made me laugh.The company that makes this fine product is proud of it and they have their logo proudly displayed and that is OK with me, I think it looks good on it.I would recommend this cane to anyone who needs a good solid platform to keep them steady, I own two and I love mine.-Floyd Smith

I just had a total knee replacement and ordered this cane to step up from the clunky walker the surgery center gave me. I live on 30 acres on the side of a mountain so the terrain is a mix of uneven grass, rock, gravel & dirt. The base on this quadpod is perfect for navigating the uneven ground and mixed terrain which makes my daily rehab walks a hell of a lot easier. The height adjustments are just right and there's a ring at the connection where the top pole and bottom pole meet that tightens, so the cane makes zero noise after you adjust it to your right height. This cane is excellent inside the house too. It stands up on its own and barely takes up any room so you can tuck it anywhere and it's out of the way. And even though this cane is very lightweight, it's SUPER STURDY and really takes a beating. My 65 lb hyperactive puppy has smashed into it multiple times at high speeds and this cane is still rock solid. A hyperactive dog + hardwood floors + a case of the zoomies = a recipe for destruction. I just put this cane in front of my leg and hold on tight when I hear him come running. So aside from an excellent walking aid, this cane is great protection too. I'd highly recommend this product.

I never thought that I would be stopped by someone on the street because of my cane. But that's exactly what happened. A woman stopped me and wanted to know all about my Hugo cane. She had gotten the HurryCane for her mother, but it did not live up to its hype. Her mother didn't feel safe using it.What she was not looking for was a cane that was sturdy, well-made and offered not just actual stability, but a perception of stability. A cane you could trust. I told her that I had been using the Hugo for a couple of weeks and I was VERY pleased with it, I then let her use it and she walked around the center of the mall trying my Hugo out. She was sold.With my Hugo, I've never felt unsafe. I've used it on all kinds of surfaces from sidewalks to rugs to rock-strewn sloping trails. It was easy to adjust to my height, and it even looks great.Why 4 stars instead of 5? The cane deserves 5 stars, but I was slightly disappointed my both the included instructions and Hugo customer service. I wanted to figure out what height my Hugo should be set at. Well taped to the Hugo was what looked like an instruction manual. After finally getting it off, it was a warranty registration card, and instructions on how to assemble my already assembled Hugo.I finally found the height instructions on a hangtag whose primary job was to tell you the features of the Hugo before you buy it. (Which is interesting since the Hugo is only available for sale online). Hidden on the hangtag was the heigh setting info.I also had called the 800 number before I bought it for some info, and they seemed more like an operator than customer service.But all in all, if you're looking for a great cane, I recommend the Hugo,

I love this cane it is actually my second one. They are very sturdy and great for people with little balance. It is wonderful to be able to just stand up your cane while you have to move around to sit or for any manor. My balance and walking are not that great but this cane sure does help me a lot. It is light weight and yet it is very sturdy.

My father left his cane at the airport, and it was a cane that had three prongs at the bottom. I purchased this one for him, and it actually is much better than the one he had. With the floor prongs, he walks with more stability, he’s very happy with it. I see a huge difference in how he walks with this cane and I’m very very happy.. I highly recommend this item and it’s adjustable which is perfect.

Excellent sturdy cane! It stands up and is durable - LOVE IT!!! I was going to get a "hurrycane," but it looks like it's thin and not sturdy, plus it folds up (how can a fold-up be sturdy? This HUGO cane is so much better than the "Hurrycane," first of all it's so much cheaper! The Hugo quad bottom looks thicker and more sturdy than the hurricane. I have heard the Hurrycane parts on the bottom, wears out and you need to replace the screws and round moving parts and they are expensive too (Who wants to deal with that crap)!I am so happy with my HUGO Mobility Cane with super strong quad pod on the bottom. I have both cervical/shoulder problems, lower back problems, arthritis and I sometimes get dizzy, I need a super strong cane and this is my lifeline - it really does what I need it to do! It actually looks better in person also looks stronger in person! I gave this cane (((5 STARS))) all the way! Plus it has a sturdy height and lowering bar with holes and a metal button that adjusts to the perfect height!That "hurrycane" is a marketing crock, so expensive for such a crappy and spindly design! People I am telling you this cane The HUGO QUADPOD is the ultimate strong cane - plus it looks cool, not dorky!
