This is a perfect size for microwaving veggies for a meal! The lid makes draining them a breeze! The price was very reasonable too! Easy to clean as well!

I purchased this for microwave cooking to avoid plastic wrap. The handle design of the dish and the lid allows you to easily carry hot dishes and remove the hot lid safely. I first purchased this for elderly relatives to microwave frozen veggies but then realized it is great for heating up soup, leftovers, and serving. The size is perfect for heating up side dishes for 2 people. I have had no issues with chipping. I was quite impressed with how well it was wrapped for shipping. I have ordered 3 so far, none have arrived broken and none have broken with use. I highly recommend this dish.

Baked a Chicken in Brown Pepper Sauce in this for the first use. You actually smother the chicken in the sauce and just throw it all into the convection oven for 40 minutes on Bake, and it is amazing. It held up well cooking one of my fav dishes. I cook it uncovered, but I did place the cover on afterward on the left over portion. I could have stored it in the fridge at clean up time, but I decided to use a smaller storage container as there was so little left. Clean up was a breeze, even the browning around the top of the inside. Sturdy and perfect sized for super large chicken breast or two medium ones. Lid fits nice and tight. Packed securely against breakage.

We have 2 very old (20+ years) Pyrex bowls like these, and frequently they're both in the dishwasher, so I went looking to buy one more. Well, Pyrex no longer makes this style with the glass lid (apparently). They have these 1 quart size, but with a WORTHLESS plastic lid (no oven use!). So, it was great to find this one from Simax. So far, it works as well as the Pyrex bowls. The only downside is the price... I would have expected a small glass casserole like this to be, say, $7.99. But over $20?! Even so, it's a nice heavy dish, and I expect it to last awhile.

I bought this less than 3 months ago and it 1st time i use it in the oven instead of on stove, it cracked on me. The oven temperature was set to 220 degree Celcius.
