I can't say enough good things about this book! I eagerly anticipated its release, and was not disappointed when it arrived. It's a beautiful book, a treat for the eyes as well as the heart. After reading it, I felt inspired to work harder at making my home a welcoming and "magical" place for my family every day, not just when company is coming. This book contains recipes, home projects, garden notes, and other ideas for each season and it was all lovely and thought-provoking. Shaye has a gift for design, photography, and writing for sure! This book is sure to become a well-used old friend. Thank you Shaye!

Absolutely lovely, lovely book. I’ve never seen anything like this. Perfect book for those who savor the quiet, serene moments at home and want to get back to the roots of enjoying the land and their home. I devoured this book and would buy any of Elliot’s others. She gives you ideas, tips, instructions, recipes, and so many other things. Perfection.

Shaye is a poet at heart (and her husband Stu, actually). The book is beautiful, it inspires and soothes. A perfect balance of reality and romance on the farm, to make great reading and browsing. I suggest this might inspire readers to dip their toes into the world of wholesomeness and homesteading and family, or if they already have their feet wet, to go in a little deeper, and if they're already in the water but struggling, to step back and see that life doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful, to find the romance instead of drudgery. These two are just an amazing couple with an amazing vision and amazing energy.

Seasons at the Farm delivers everything it promises and then some. Beautifully written by the author Shaye Elliott, this book is a well-thought-out and from the heart look at family, farm life, and the seasonal beauty of life at Le Chalet; the farm (Elliott Homestead). I’ve enjoyed this book thoroughly and will probably wear it out grabbing for it time and time again. Seasons at the Farm takes the reader on a journey from spring to fall revealing purpose, hope, joy, celebration, and many more realities and inspirations of life at the farm. Seasons at the Farm is a rich looking, well made, coffee table perfect (though mine won’t sit for long), beautifully photographed collection of stories and recipes from some of my favorite people—Thank you to Rowman & Littlefield & NetGalley for the opportunity to review Seasons at the Farm by Shaye Elliott. Shaye Elliott has written, once again, a beautiful book! It's filled with many gorgeous pictures, new recipes, and fun homemaking ideas. She is able to capture the joy and warmth of each season in it's own way. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone. It truly is a celebration!

I will admit I only read the spring and summer sections before skimming the rest of the book. I am not much of a homemaker, farmer type, so many of the recipes and suggestions would not work for me. I loved the photography though.

I've had the privilege of owning a copy of this book for less than a day and I have almost already devoured it in its entirety. Shaye inspires and delights in turn. It is not just a peak in the beauty amidst the reality of farming in her own life, but is also a collection of easy guidelines to follow to saturate your own life with color. Thank you Shaye for the anticipation of everyday joy and vibrancy and for gently inspiring a slight reorientation of my priorities in creating a welcoming home. Definitely worth the purchase, it is a masterful peak into a true art form.

I love all of Shayes books! And this one did not disappoint. These days what’s in style is to have a sterile perfect White House, this gives me so much inspiration for my own little farmhouse cottage. Refreshing to see something different and creative.

This book is worth it for the overnight baguette recipe alone! I've made them so many times and it's just amazing to be able to eat fresh, homemade baguette for breakfast with barely any work. Plus, it's SOOOOO beautiful to look at, especially, if like me, you dream of one day leaving the city life behind.

The book is beautifully written and photographed, as with all of the Elliott family’s work. It’s a wonderfully cozy book to curl up with and flip through. It evokes the feelings of each season perfectly and provides inspiration rather than instruction.

Loved the book! First I’ve ordered from the author as I’ve subscribed via YouTube for sometime. The family is a delight, share beautiful recipes and farm life.

I loved this book so much I ordered three more as gifts when it was on sale for 14 bucks. It is so inspiring if you love to live seasonally and embrace the ordinary bliss of being alive .
