Can I put these on my kayak as a bumper of sort?

They will probably be too difficult to attach to a kayak.

Are these bumpers sealed to provide buoyancy? I plan to use these as buoyancy devices instead of bumpers for a floating debris fence.

They are sealed. Never tried to float one. It’s attached to the dock.

Would this work to mount in a garage to prevent a car from hitting the wall?

It's a fender for a boat dock. May help if you installed it on the wall in your favorite spot where your car door opens and hits the wall. But no it won't stop a car from going through your garage wall.

Nice bumper would be better if it included hardware

The product is well built and the lip on top makes it easy to install. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is the lack of hardware included.3 lag screws and 3 washers should be included, no reason why you should have to go to your local hardware store as they should come with the product.

Recommended for dock poles

I use these over dock poles to prevent pontoons from getting scratched. And these seem to last forever. I have one that is over 5 years old and still works perfectly fine.

High Quality And Easy To Install Dock Bumper

Needed a sturdy duck bumper to cover a sharp dock edge with one short side. Could not find a corner that would fit the short side of the dock that had a pole. Took a chance that installing this one upside down with the top side covering the corner would protect our boat. This was extremely easy to install after drilling three holes in the aluminum dock side and using the top edge to overlap the bottom of the dock with about 1/2” overlapping the short corner. It worked great and I angled the existing bumper on the short corner to provide additional protection.

They work well until they fall off. The mounting holes are not properly reinforced.
