Try toasting for best results
These are a bit bland and tasteless but they still deserve five stars because we can make so many more dishes now that we have found a gluten-free chow mein noodle. We have found that toasting these to increase the freshness makes all the difference. We put these on a cookie sheet and stick them in the oven on 250F for 10 minutes and it does a great job drying them out and freshening them up enough to make them taste a lot better. Once cooled, they can be used to make cookies, tossed on top of a salad, or in any recipe and they taste so much better than straight from the bag. They still don't have a lot of flavor on their own, but they taste crispy enough that we find ourselves constantly snacking once they are toasted.

Decent gluten free
I use these to make cookies. It's hard to find locally. Taste decent, small bag for the price.

Do not suggest!
I received 4 bags 2 thin 2 thick all starting to rancid, not sure others use of these, but I was hoping to place them on my Chinese Chicken Salad, both sizes way to hard to add to salad, even if they hadn't been going bad. There was some numbers that could have been a date, unsure, the last number was 26, so if that was the year, they should have had plenty of life left, but old oil taste is not desirable.

Great Gluten Free Alternative
I've not made my Asian chicken salad recipe in10 years, since having to go gluten free. This is a great alternative! Very similar in texture and taste to LaChoy - which I loved. Will be making the salad tomorrow! Another fav is melting chocolate chips and mixing with the noodles & salted peanuts - spreading in a buttered pie dish - for a delicious candy bite! Can hardly wait!

Worked in a pinch
I like the La Choy noodles the best for what I use chow mein noodles for (haystacks) but these were cheaper online and locally I couldn’t find any. These worked, they’re gluten free so that was nice. They were thinner and longer than what I’m used to but they weren’t awful. The texture was definitely different but not bad, the crunch wasn’t as satisfying though. It was almost as if they were a bit stale
