Looked damaged on arrival but thriving now
Came in the box well packaged. Some of the leaf ends were brown and curled and looked like it might not survive, but I followed the planting instructions and it worked. I held off transplanting for a good month and a half, slowly getting the tiny thing acclimated to it’s new environment.UPDATED:*** The banana tree is healthy and growing very well now. It takes minimal upkeep and needs watered every two weeks. Be careful not to overwater it!! It has grown to a height of 7” at the trunk and 13” with the leaves. I’m thrilled at how well it doing. I had to move it to a larger container (banana protein jar) in the spring this year and will move it to a larger pot in a few months. Great product!!

It's great!
Received in good condition and alive. However, no instructions were included in the package. Based on the product description, I’m assuming it’s safe to transplant it outdoors in sunlight or is ready to.

Arrived in Great Shape, Thrived After Planting!
Received my plant late January, and straight out of the box it looked fantastic, roots were wrapped neatly and hadn't dried out, and after about seven months of growth, my tree is shoulder high and thriving!! Highly reccommend

Looks great!
Received the banana tree in excellent condition! It was packaged really well. I thought it was a clever idea taping the pot to the side of the box so it wouldn’t shift around. The tree itself looks excellent! Nice green leaves and it’s already starting to grow another shoot and I’ve only had it about a week! It also came with instructions on how to help it recover from shipping, though I followed them, it didn’t really look like it suffered to much on the way here. Cute little tree, excited to see this thing grow!

Grows very well.
I live in a Zone 7A. I got this plant in September of 2019. It is now December of 2020. It is now 6 ft tall. I keep it indoors in the winter under grow lights and move it outdoors during the summer. Plant is very vigorous and producing baby plants. Hoping to get some bananas next summer. This is a fun plant to have if you like gardening and have the room.

You will receive a healthy plant.
This is what my plant looked like after cross-country travel through the cold. Perfectly healthy except for a tiny bit of curl. Moist not wet. Soil well aerated. In less than 3 weeks the plant has tripled in size with a trunk starting. Of note, using hydroponic growth medium - vermiculite and perlite with a pretty generic hydroponic nutrient system. Nothing fancy, watering by hand with about a 2 quart reservior i let go dry before rewatering. I use 1200W LED light with an inline fan/filter. Light on 13 hours, room temp 82-84 humidity 40-70%. Dark 11 hours, temp 70-73. Would like to bring nighttime room temp down, but I'm not really that concerned.
