I bought this to replace a plastic can strainer, and the difference in the sturdiness and feel of the strainer is great. It is a nice weight to handle and the liquid drains quickly from the can. Easy to clean or throw in the sliding top rack of our dishwasher.

This can (tuna) strainer is amazing!!!! This is an amazing strainer if you have one of those fancy cut the rim off the can can openers that prohibits you from pushing the lid into the cans to strain. No more fishy fingers from trying to strain the water or oil out of those tuna cans! Just use the side handles and push the back of the can against it to get your tuna dry for your seasoning and preferred condiments. Also works with those fruit and vegetables cans as well. Easily rinse your canned beans or vegetables and strain the water out of the can. This a definite must have in the kitchen if you like to drain the liquid from your canned goods before preparing the contents! It will have you saying why did I not get one of these sooner or if your like me why did I not know something like this existed?

This tuna strainer makes the process of draining tuna much less messy. It's easy to use and definitely cuts down on the hassle. The only reason it gets four stars instead of five is because it's just a bit too shallow for 5-ounce cans, so I still have to hand-squeeze some of the juice. That said, the quality is excellent, and with latex gloves, I can avoid the tuna odor on my hands. Overall, it's a very good, well-made product
