In My Heart: A Book of Feelings (Growing Hearts)

One of my favorites! This book teaches children about their different feelings and emotions. (good for adult learners as well ) The book is sturdy and made to last; the paper quality is exceptional and the illustrations are colorful and fun. I have a re-purchased this book several times as gifts.

Adorable book with whimsical drawings. I purchased this book as a Valentine's Day gift for a 3 and 5 year old. It helps kids understand their feelings and emotions, with fun simple text and how your heart can feel so many feelings. Actually good for all ages, we all need to explain and express how our heart is feeling. A great gift for any heartfelt occasion.

A must to buy your Young grandchild …

Such a sweet book to introduce a variety of basic feelings to toddlers. My daughter was around 18 months when COVID hit, and she missed out on precious social interaction, which has let to some frustrations in regards to her speech and her ability to express herself. I was looking for books about feelings/emotions, since it seemed Penny couldn't express much beyond "happy," or "sad." What attracted this specific one to me first is the lovely cutout heart that gets smaller with each turn of the page. As soon as we got it, she immediately ask me to read it. She lovingly traced each heart with her fingers after we read every feeling. She loves the simple drawings, and asking questions about each little detail. Within about a week of reading this book, she was able to share with me on two seperate occasions that she felt shy and afraid, two emotions expressed in the book. Not only that, but feeling "brave" has her reminding me almost every day now how big and strong she is! I highly recommend this book for any little ones around 3-6. We love it!

É um ótimo livro em inglês que fala sobre sentimentos, como professora de idioma, utilizei como recurso para aquisição de vocabulário e acho que valeu a pena! Como é uma história relativamente maior, sugiro para crianças mais velhas, de 8 anos em diante.
