It's only evening 1 but I'm thoroughly impressed already! The book arrived in 3 hours from ordering and is Beautifully presented! I wish I had bought this book sooner! My 3 year old daughter had waited for the delivery and heard the parcel drop through the door and although we had just read her 1st book of the night, she got out of bed and turned the light back on in apprehension of me retrieving the book. As I bought the book into her room, she squeeled "Thankyou mummy" in delight! We were both instantly pleased by the appearance of the book and she wanted me to read with eager enthusiasm! The books pages still had that brand new manufactured peel apart feel but as the pages separated, it was like opening a whole new world sealed and defined with silver trim. I love the enticing layout of story pages being divided by rhymes-as if to separate into secret little sections. I was happy to find the back of the book had an alphabetical index for easy finding because Pinocchio had been requested. My 3 year old listened intently and enjoyed the illustrations as I read and felt the story was just the right length and nicely ended the nights reading session with a rhyme. I look forward to nightly readings even more now, and think just as much as my daughter will. Incredibly comfortable to hold being padded and bound with a soft feel. I can not recommend enough...especially if you are running out of books! The size looks just right too to neatly store in the book cupboard or to bring for journeys. A very well presented book packed with hundreds of classic children stories and rhymes, some I remember more than others (probably my age). The book has a padded hard cover and finished with silver edging to the paper. The paper is good quality, with a smooth sheen finish and is nice to the touch. The text is clear font, easy to read or follow along and accompanied with well drawn illustrations. All in all there is a lot to like about this collection of stories. The quality is sturdy and looks like it will stand the test of time. The book is smaller than I expected, but given its thickness that is probably a good thing if being held for a while. Our 8 month old loves being read to and looking at the pictures. It has easily become one of the favourites at bedtime for all ages. I recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. I got this for my 5 month old son and im very pleased with it. Its lovely quality and there is so much content, from traditional nursery rhymes and fairy tales to more modern ones and even tongue twisters. It has a context and index page to make it easy to find your childs favourite. And it has a ribbon to save the page. It arrived very quickly. I am very pleased with this book esspecially for the price. I cant wait to start reading to my son

a great variety of songs and bedtime story with pictures of the book so colouful great for attract attention of toddler 1 year old each night new bed story or song very good so many pages ,the only think me i don't like is magical or fairy princess story the rest is very good

It’s been 4 years and my daughter is still loving this book. I got another daughter and she just turned 3 and she prefers this book over the others. Our bedtime routine consist of singing and story telling from this book.

This book is absolutely excellent, I love that there are a mixture of short poems/lymericks and longer stories.There are lots of stories in there that I haven't come across before and are very sweet.The illustrations are really bright and courful and lovely and the protective cover does the job very well. The puffiness feels really nice in my hands as and it has a ribbon to mark the page.Reading a few at bedtime to my 1yo sent her right off to sleep which was totally adorable. Definitely a fantastic addition to the bedtime collection.

Thought I would get into a routine of reading my daughter a bedtime story before she goes to sleep, I've always wanted to do that because I never had that when I was a child.My daughter is 6 years old and I have been reading to her every night for almost a year now, this book has lasted me around 4 weeks up to now with still plenty more stories to read.Good size book with 381 pages of stories, rhymes and poems and absolutely worth the money. Will probably get another different one when I'm eventually through with this one

Great purchase! Funny stories, some classicals and a lot of songs and nursery rhymes 😄I can imagine my baby growing up with this book and me not getting to bored reading it over and over again!

Nice to have so many of the stories and rhymes from my childhood that I can pass along to my grandkids.
