RM Series Replacement Remote Control for Orbitsound T12V3

This is a generic remote control from the RM Series - an RMC 12166. It has all the buttons you need for controlling the Orbitsound T12V3 plus more which have no function with the soundbar. I have a few of these for other devices and they all work as they should although the layout of the buttons differs from the original remotes. They are good for replacing missing or broken remote controls but I bought this for the Orbitsound as the original is about the shoddiest remote I have seen! Have a couple of AAA batteries ready because none are provided with this product. The remote supplied is similar in style to the one illustrated - but has fewer buttons. A reasonable remote for the price and should outlast the original many times over!

This remote worked perfectly for Orbitsound Soundbar.I had been struggling on for about 18 months with the pathetic credit card type remote so much so it was starting to convince me in buying a new system just because the remote was incapable of just turning the sound up or down.Rather than going to the expense of spending another £100 or so replacing a perfectly good soundbar and ipod doc I looked into the reviews of this remote and after plenty of Googling took the plunge.It works perfectly and works from as far as I can take the remote away from the speaker.I guess my only complaint is it's a lot bigger and way more buttons than are needed but just for the basics of what we need it works perfectly.I am now using by speaker far more than I ever was just due to having this remote as it was hassle to try and use it before.

Worked perfectly with an Orbit sound T12v3 system when tested, also worked with my Orbit sound Bar A60 system as well with no issues.Great price compared to the original. First choice if needing a replacement remote.

I bought the Orbit soundbar which works well but the remote supplied is awful. Constant button pressing and erratic response but now I have relieved of that annoyance with the purchase of this remote. It really works.Mind you, don't forget to buy some AAA batteries as it DOESN'T come with any!

Says works with Orbitsound T12. Well doesn't work with mine! Not worth the hassle of returning. Only gets one star because you can't review without a rating, otherwise wouldn't get any!!!

There are a lot of buttons on the remote that don't have anything to do with my Orbitsound - but for minimal expense, its been cool to be able to use my expensive sound bar again.
