Great heater
This is a very good product. Easy to adjust temperature using its external little control switch. Works well. I am using it on a 245l tank and it does the job perfectly. Though it is quite long, (which in fact can be a good point as it disperses the heat more evenly), it is not obtrusive. Only draw-back is the lead is quite short. So you may well need an extension cable.

Do not buy, fails without notification
After just over 12 months this product stopped working correctly.Gradually the tank got colder, so we turned the thermostat up thinking it would compensate as it was colder than normal for the time of year, not realising that the element had failed. There was no indication of this as the thermometer show a temperature and that it was on and heating.

Allow to sit in tank for 20 mins before switching on!
Bought recently, one thing I think they should specify is that the heater needs to sit in the tank for a minimum of 20 minutes before being switched on or you'll get an error message. Aside from that, it was relatively simple to set up and seems to work quite well.

I have had no problems so far. The led temperature display is a useful feature. Works well. Very good value for money.

Good if not broken
Ok, but broke after 8 months.

Submerge for a while before plugging in.
Cons.Couldn't get the heater to work at first in a vertical position (E1 error flashing), tried repositioning but no luck. Placed it horizontal and it seems to be working now but not the position I really wanted it in.Pros.Easy to adjust the temperature.Edit.After writing the above review the sell contacted me to advise that the heater should be submerged in water for 10-20 minutes before plugging in and it should work.I've now put it back to vertical and it's working fine. So far so good.

Lasted a year
Looks great, but required constant monitoring as it was inconsistent. Lasted just over a year.

Easy to use
Well great heaters well worth the money and very stable at keeping the temp a bought two of them and they keep my reef tank at a constant 78 degrees 5 out of 5
