Good news is they are 16.5 long the bad news is they don't look the same as pictured in add. Not sure how long they will last do to different construction seller shows. They are very thin stainless the metal actually starts to glow . Will try a couple of BBQ ,s before returning they might hold up will see. The big problem is the seller selling the incorrect item Amazon are you listening?

The length was not a surprise, it seems that all of the replacements are 16.5" long. Luckily this is long enough to sit on the back and forward shelves. I used spacers made from angle iron to keep them from possibly shifting around when I move the grill. The material is nice thick stainless and I expect they will last for a good number of years. After these wear out I think I'll probably end up replacing the grill. I really like my Captn' Cook, so I am trying to make it last as long as possible. I replaced the burners and casters at the same time, so I should have a few years of maintenance-free service ahead of me.

They fit right in, actually they were smaller than the originals what scents are in a spot that nobody touches or it doesn't move all the time they work fine. They come with the briquettes with them. I didn't know that but I needed the grates and thought that's all I was getting is the grates because I didn't read the fine print. With the both of them it is a good deal I just thought it was very expensive for the great but I had no choice. It all worked out

I searched Amazon for replacement parts instead of buying a new grille. I found this part which fit perfectly and installed with no issues. I fired up the grill and looks like a new grill. I've not had any issues with the replacement part. I will definitely buy other replacement parts as needed for the grill.

even though it was a good value I Rated it a 4 because some of the ceramic tiles came cracked but not enough for me to return the product back.

I ordered replacement parts for my Capt'n Cook BBQ including these heat plates. They came in the mail exactly as promised. They were super easy to install and work amazingly well from the start. It has been 13 years since I had to replace them, so I'm not sure I'll be reordering anytime soon, but if I need to, these are my go-to plates.
