Putting Amazing Back into Grace: Embracing the Heart of the Gospel

I’ve read Putting Amazing Back into Grace several times, and I’ve gifted it to several people over the years. It’s hard to believe Michael Horton wrote this as such a young man. He takes one of the most challenging subjects in Protestant theology and makes it clear, accessible, and deeply encouraging. If you want a thoughtful, biblical, and beautifully written explanation of the Gospel, this is one of the best resources you’ll find. Highly recommended.

This is a very good read on the basics of reformed theology. Although I lean more Lutheran, I appreciate Michael Horton and his ministry. Grace really is amazing.

This book is very useful for anyone curious about the christianity, not of mankind, but of the Bible. It may be an eye opener for some, a confirmation for others, heartburn for others; but an exploration of scripture (sola scripture) for all.

This is the most scriptural book that I have read that can help the lay people understand what we Christians are about and how God meant us to be. You will not be able to put it down and you have be blessed to have read it.

This is an excellent book to give (AND READ) for Christians, and anyone curious about "what is the gospel?" Love Michael Horton, and "The White Horse Inn" boys!

I purchased this book because of Michael's book entitled: "Christless Christianity" which suggests that it is not the gospel of grac that is being preached but a self esteem, 10 steps to better yourself, self-centred make me feel good gospel. This book provides the foundation of what God's grace is all about. An amazing book.

Huge help for understanding Grace in a real perspective. Book was like a buffet of practical yet enriching teachings. I highly recommend to all Christians. A must.

Our men's reading group is taking this on as our next challenge, helped by our own retired bishop. What a great book, full of the gospel. Bishop John is doing a fantastic job helping us understand it all and strengthen our trust in God and his mercy. A terrific book which is well worth reading at least twice, but, remember, the subject matter is infinitely more important than the book itself!

OK book, although not life changing for me. I've had a lot of issues in my life at that time and was looking for help in various Christian literature; however, I have found little help if any at all.
