128 Ounce Stainless Steel Mini Keg Growler - Wine Keg Draft Beer Growlers for Beer, Water, Soda, Wine, Coffee

I actually bought this with the intent of it being a fancy receptacle for #1. When I read the other review of the guy that used it as a hot water bottle, I had to try it. I had to check the welds for leaks first. They seem acceptable.First experiment, I filled with hot water from tap. Turns out it holds the heat for a good 2-3 hours. I also found that it works on my induction cooktop to warm it back up. If you cuddle with it hot and it cools to the point of being a useless waste of space in the bed, it only takes about 2 minutes to rewarm on the highest setting of an induction cooktop... the wattage on mine happens to be 1500.Second experiment, I filled with cold water from tap and warmed it on my induction cooktop. From cold, to just before the point of it being too hot to touch, took about 7 minutes. Again on the highest setting of a 1500w induction cooktop.I'm actually incredibly pleased with these findings and will be purchasing another at some point. I like the idea of using thermal mass as heating and would like to experiment more with that. The quality is sufficient. Vessels like this are hard to come by... I'm a water bottle connoisseur (nothing beats the Nalgene stainless). If you get one with bad welds, and you plan on using for similar purposes, I say it may be worth it to pay a TIG welder to tidy it up. If they want more than $50, I'd say take it to a trade school and let a student give it a shot.

Good build, sturdy, no defects on mine. Most importantly fits the Nutrichef tap and mini regulator assembly snugly.

This is a nice growler for the money. It is fairly small however.

Been looking for something that I could use for my nitro cold brew. This product does not state it could be used for pressure or has a pressure rating. However some of the Q&A said it was possible.I’m currently putting it under about 20psi and it has a leak at the seam for the top column. You can see the bubbles coming out in the picture. Looks like it won’t work for pressure situations as I’d hoped.You may have a different experience, but don’t count on this tank going under pressure.

I must say, these stainless steel mini kegs are first class. I purchased them because I’m in to good craft beer, and I wanted to bring a little extra on vacation with me. These are perfect for everything... Beer, nitro coffee, and anything else you would want to store in them. Great quality, great fast delivery... Thanks Again.... set this thing full of water on the stove for a few minutes and then tuck it into a wool wrap at my feet before going to bed. toasty feet all night long, even when camping in single digits. new best friend. no leaks.
