Mounting that structure was not too hard. It took me about 15 minutes to get it all done by myself. My cat likes it. She had at some point been in all the resting areas except for the closed one. I placed it near a window so she can spy on the outside as she loves doing.Here is what I like about it:- Versatile. There are many options for your cat(s) to be on it.- Soft to the touch.- Easy to mount.- Much cheaper than in the pet stores.Here is what I like less (or not at all)- The base is not larger than the top. This makes for a not very stable structure. It did not fall yet but everytime my cat jumps on it, you can feel the wobbliness. Placed on a carpet makes it worse. A simple rule was forgotten: the base has always to be larger than the top plate or being able to be screwed in place (not an option here).To remedy this, I had to place the structure right against the window wall. I would be very worried to have it in the middle of my room.- The area where you place the bolts is left bare. So you have a nice and soft surface except right where you placed the bolts.- I was hoping for my cat to understand that the roped area is a scratch post but she is visibly oblivious to it. Not the fault of the scratpost though...In conclusion:Considering that my cat spends a good 4 hours per day perched on it, I think it is a good investment.

General Overview:I ordered this cat climb with a bit of skepticism due to other reviews of the tree being overly wobbly. While this is true, the tree is wobbly, it is not near as wobbly as I had thought it would be. All of my cats enjoy the tree to some degree and each have a different favorite element of the tree. I will note that when I purchased this tree it was around $40.The Cats:I have three cats: a 9.10 pound 3 year old, a 6.5 pound five month old, and 4 pound three month old. All use the tree in some way or another.The hammock is big enough for the two kittens (to lay in separately) but my cat (who's arguable small for a grown cat) must stuff herself. The house is large enough for both kittens to sleep inside while curled together like pretzels. My cat hasn't tried the house yet after having the tree for over a month. I think to her it is too small to attempt to go inside.None of my cats are interested in the hanging rope in the middle. I have seen this with other reviewers. You could take the rope off but the tree looked "naked" to me without.Stabilization and the Wobble Factor:I have this tree against a wall and this seems to have stabilized it when compared to other reviews. If you're truly worried about the tree falling over you could anchor the tree to the wall via the back of the house structure. L brackets could also be used underneath the top shelf; however, be careful that you do not use screws that will puncture through to the other side of the shelf. The exposed ends of screws could injure your cat.Assembly:The climb comes with all hardware, including an Allen wrench (hex key), and assembly instructions. There are no spare parts. The tree is very easy to put together. All together it took me about ten minutes from unpacking to finish product.Would I Buy It Again:Yes, I would if my kittens end up being ten pounds or less (which isn't looking likely).

the base plate of this stand came broken. on the left half about 7 inches from the left. all the way thru. but assembly was easy, and after screwing down the base onto a slightly larger board....turns out to be fairly stable if not a bit shaky for the larger of our two felines. the materials and manner in which it assembles is good. the "fur" is really soft and the cats rub all aver it, the sisal wrapped posts are really really solidly assembles with no loose rope. besides coming ina oversized box, which was waaay to big for the box the item came in, might have something to do with the damage. it might look like the side car "hammock" is flimsy, it is not its a one piece metal ring with a well sewn hammock i was surprised as i was skeptical of the construction..... it was worth the price, even with the damage, i had no desire to put the fed ex driver thru the hassle of a return and second delivery and the hassle of putting it all back in the boxed, i repaired the base and its even less un sturdy now. something others who are considering purchasing this one or one like it, its only a few inch and a 1/4 screws and a larger base from being more stable.the stand hits about hip high on me im 5' 11"/ is not as wide as it looks, about the over all space of a two shelf book shelf you get from any brick and mortar storefront. item shown is two toned, item recieved was all the same light beige shade, with this almost velour type soft fur material instead of the carpet i was expecting. the cats LOVE rubbing on it.after contacting amazon and the resulting solution to my little damage issue, all parties were satisfied. the product itself is surprisingly good quality from what i was expecting. i would buy another go pet piece of cat furniture, if the need arose or the cat population expanded, or we move to a larger residence.

Works well for our cat, though she only uses the scratching posts and the top level. She's made it rock by jumping on it but never tipped it over. That said, it is close to a wall so that would help. My only concern is that the scratching posts aren't going to hold up very long to her scratching; the one post is already quite frayed.

Ich war total happy, als ich das Paket bekam. Doch die Ernüchterung kam recht schnell.Nachdem Aufbau sah es anfürsich sehr stabil aus aber leider wackelt er an jeder stelle.Für den Anfang reicht es aber später dann doch einen stabileren.

not sturdy falls over alot not the best but not the worst lasted couple years.
