Folkmanis Wyvern Dragon Hand Puppet

This dragon is a Massive hit with my little boy (nearly 3). I got him as an incentive to get to stay in bed and settle down for night time stories. Bedtime Dragon (as he is now known) is brought out and my son eagerly sits for story time and also loves to hug the animated dragon who also enjoys the story. The detail, workmanship, and lovely fabric are stunning. This dragon is a favourite with me and I do enjoy 'bringing him to life' to the delight of my beaming little boy. A must for small (and big) dragon lovers.

Fun and not frightening was the reaction from my husband, in fact he thought the Wyvern looked a bit gormless. That works for me as I have other more fierce dragon puppets in my menagerie. He is fairly large so not for teeny hands and needs practice to work the mouth and wings but he is beautifully made so worth the effort.

Well made ‘off the shelf puppet’ and great for young budding puppeteers.

I bought this puppet to help in class. He helps the children and they adore him. I have managed to use him as an aid in childrens work in all areas of education,

This toy is wonderful! Although a little smaller than I expected, it is very well made, the wings flap separately if you move your hand to animate them otherwise you can move the jaw and tongue so he can talk! Such a lovely gift to read stories to my baby with.

Great quality! Well-made, using excellent materials. For serious puppetry use, needs a good-sized hand.When not using mine as a puppet, I store this on a heavy, thick candlestick that I stick up the bum of the dragon! Good looking enough to warrant keeping out in our admittedly eccentric home all year long, along with several other of the Folkmanis hand puppet dragons! Wonderful size!EDIT: Note...this is indeed a wyvern, so no forelegs/winglets on this fellow!We are really sold on the Folkmanis brand. Bravo!

Ich habe ihn durch Zufall entdeckt und mich augenblicklich verliebt. Ich besuche Mittelaltermärkte und habe nach einem Blickfang gesucht, der mich zu den Märkten begleiten kann. Mit diesem Tierchen habe ich voll ins Schwarze getroffen. Mein Karm (so heißt mein Drache) war jetzt zwei Tage im Einsat und Kinder wie Erwachsene standen mit leuchtenden Augen vor dem kleinen Kerl.Die Verarbeitung ist super, er hat viele kleine, schöne Details, schimmernde Schuppen und einen schönen Stoff für die Hörnenr und Krallen.Der Drache lässt sich gut spielen (bespielbar sind der Kopf, die Zunge und die Flügel), ich habe recht große Hände (für eine Frau), komme aber gut mit der Hand bis in den Kopf der Puppe, bei größeren und kräftigeren Händen könnte es schwierig werden. (Wird es schwierg, einige Herren hatten Probleme damit)Nachtrag: Der Drache ist jetzt in der dritten Saison mein treuer Begleiter auf dem MPS und mein absolutes Markenzeichen geworden. Ende April haben wir das erste Mal einen Zwilling getroffen, da merkte ich dann schon, dass mein Kumpel schon von vielen Händen gekuschlt und geknuddelt wurde, die schöne Schuppenmaserung ist gerade an Hals und Kopf fast vollständig verschwunden, für die Belastung der er ausgesetzt ist, aber absolut in Ordnung. Seinem Charme tut das auch überhaupt keinen Abbruch.

Dieser Drache war ein Weihnachtsgeschenk für einen 6 jährigen. Der absolute Renner, dagegen konnte kein Computerspiel und sonst nichts ankommen. Der Drache gefällt Klein und Groß. Er ist wundervoll gearbeitet und vom Ausdruck her überhaupt nicht kitschig. Man kann den Drachen ernst nehmen und auch lieb haben, eine super Mischung. Er ist sein Geld wert.
