I was wondering why the price tag on this particular gaffers tape is almost 3 times what I paid for another brand. Now, there is little doubt why. This particular brand works well, very well. It leaves behind zero sticky residure, unlike the other one I had used in the past. I ended up tossing that roll into the trash can. I use this roll to secure my video cameras to a tripod. I do computer vision work. I removed the tape a week later, and there was zero residue! The other brand left behind 95% residue. I had to clean it off with Goo B Gone. I am now using this to tape cables to walls and drop cloths to ceilings (for demolition of hardwood and tiles to install new flooring). I removed the tape as a test to see what residue it left behind. How much? Zero! This gaffers tape works well!I rate the adhesion quality stronger than blue or yellow masking tape, but weaker than duct tape. This is sometimes all you want so that you can remove the tape with ease when needed.

Works much better than duct tape for securing cables to carpeting and to flooring. I am using this to cover/secure my Cat 8 cables at door ways. Amazing color selection - my choice very closely matches my carpeting where it is used.

I will buy this again- the theater supply store in my area went out of business and I was skeptical of ordering gaff tape online. So glad I did!

The tape is super sticky, yet it peels off without leaving any residue. It held strong and kept everything secure for me. It also feels good to buy a product made in America

Not for outside use. Used to seal around thru wall air conditioner under a covered porch. Tape came off in a week. Inside tape seems to be holding.

I'd heard of gaffers tape but had no first-hand experience until purchasing this product. It won't totally replace Duct Tape or Gorilla Tape, but for certain applications it's great. Excellent adhesion with no-stick removal. It's been applied to raw and painted cement, stone, terrazo, painted wallboard walls and dry wallboard. It sticks until removal (haven't let it stay on for anything over a few days), then removes without damage or sticky residue. I'll always keep a roll of this stuff around.

Item arrived as described

The media could not be loaded. I've used a lot of gaffer's tape over the years and this one wasn't good. It's adhesive is weak. It doesn't leave any residue. i taped down an Ethernet cable around my office room basboard and used about 5" of tape every 16-18" to about 50' total. I noticed alot of the pieces were coming off the baseboard. I had some left over tape from another brand and it had no issues. Not sure if I got a bad roll or what. Anyway, I think I'll go back to the other brand I use and got from Uline.UPDATE: 2/26/2025So it looks like I received a bad roll (things happen). Anyway the new roll I got works just how it should. I also appreciate the customer service of Gaffer Power. They saw my issue and were quick to respond. Not all companies are like this.
