Fun reads!!
I'm just going to review these together. I read them both together in 1 sitting. They were just cute, fun short reads that gave me a little more time in this world with one of my favorite characters from the Christmas trilogy-the Truth Pixie. Had a blast with these. Beautiful cover & full of beautiful illustrations inside by Chris Mould too.💜

Everyone needs this book - adults and children alike.
I wish there was a book like this when I was younger. Such a beautiful and honest story. Excellent for children who may experience or navigate through any mental health concerns. This book is truly a gift for children and adults alike.

So very charming!
Who couldn't handle the truth? Everyone, and if the truth is all you've got, well popularity isn't something you're familiar with. Such is life for the Truth Pixie . . . until? I've already ordered this wonderful fairytale for my niece. An affirmation of honesty and how trust and truth will often arrive hand in hand.

Not only for children.(Kindle edition)
A wonderful book with thought provoking positive messages, written with children in mind. I believe that with an open mind, adults can benefit as well. I know I have. The illustrations are also very nice.

Thr truth is important for growing up. But
The only thing that doesn't convince me is that:The truth Pixie told earlier is mean. Like you're ugly & stupid. But the truth she told Aada is more like Buddha truth: Nothing is permanent. More like emo song truth.Pixie might learns to speak better quality of truth along the way to Helsinki where people can take the truth. But it's children book. I shouldn't be too critical.I should have this in my childhood.

Short stories don't come better than this.
Well, the wonderful mix of Matt Haig and Chris Mould brings a thoroughly enchanting and well-told tale that not only entertains but helps with one of life's biggest conundrums for the young (and some of the not so young), namely telling the truth when it may hurt. I think any adult will be as captivated as their children by this tale and the artwork within. Go on, sometimes the BEST things really do come in tiny packages!

Great book for anyone
Yes, it's a children's book- but we all need these reminders from time to time. I use it all the time in therapy sessions with children and adults who have depression, anxiety, or have suffered the impacts of severe trauma. Highly recommend for the anxious or depressed or highly sensitive child in your life.

Love Truth Pixie!
Matt Haig's, A Boy Called Christmas, has become a favorite book of mine to use in the classroom. The Truth Pixie is a character from this book, so when I saw she had her own book I was very excited. This is an easy to read book, similar to a longer Dr. Seuss book. Her story has a wonderful theme that teaches a lesson to be true to who you are.
