Expands to 6 or eight ft, depending on attic space. I had roofing company install since I know nothing about roofs and I wanted no leak guarantee.

Yes, however I changed to solid pipe with elbows because of quality of light

I need 12 feet of tube and this only has 8 where do I order the other 4 feet?

You can order a 12' section of tubing. Tubes come in 8' and 12'. Even though they don't recommend it, sometimes we have to add a piece to the supplied tubing to make the length needed or make it around whatever is in our way in the attic. If you do do that, make sure its taped really well because it can come loose with the heat of the attic. You will also loose some illumination by extending the tubing beyond recommended specs. Hope this helps. BTW, I'm a remodeling contractor and have installed over 200 of these over the last few years.

Can this solar tube be lengthened using extensions, or do the extensions only work with the rigid solar tube models?

Additional lengths of tubing can be purchased for the rigid Velux Sun Tunnels.
