Oh Dear!: A Farm Lift-the-Flap Book (Dear Zoo & Friends)

Oh Dear! is an absolute favorite in our home — equally adored by my 12-month-old and 2.5-year-old. As parents, we love reading it too! The repetition keeps both boys engaged from start to finish, and it’s been a great tool for helping them learn animal names and sounds. The lift-the-flap format also supports fine motor skills and adds an element of surprise that keeps them coming back for more. It's simple, sweet, and so effective. If I’m ever asked to gift a book for a baby shower, this is my go-to. It’s a true hidden gem that every young family should have on their bookshelf!

We bought this after having Dear Zoo. It’s been a nighttime staple since our son was 9 months old and now at a year old we still read it every night. The flaps are VERY sturdy. He’s ripped through books like Where’s Spot (without being aggressive!!) but this one has held up beautifully. The artwork is also really pleasing and enjoyable to look at. Highly recommend for little ones who love interactive books

We love this book! My daughter loves the “Dear Zoo” book, so when I saw this I knew it would become another favorite. She loves lifting the flaps and seeing all the animals. I love the simplicity and sweet illustrations
