Great product
This spray lacquer was easy to use. The finished quality was just what I was looking for. I used it on a pine workpiece I was making after watching Steve Ramsey use it. The workpiece has since stayed durable, the spray was consistent, there were no bubbles like there are when you use polyurethane. I appreciate the price too. Good value for your dollar.

Wow, just wow
Magic in a bottle. Never use lacquer before.. I needed it on a thick piece of wood so I could put the wood in the back of my car and have my DJ equipment slide on the wood easily. It turned the wood literally into glass and it dried very quickly. This is impressive stuff. I didn’t even know this kind of thing existed.

excellent results, ease of use
love this stuff (though the price seems to be going up...i get it for $13 at lowes now.) but yeah, its great. Dries to touch in 5 minutes not 30, but leave over night/24 hrs to off-gas and fully cure then rub with brown paper...silky smooth. Its very forgiving. You do have to be even handed with it, you can correct easily with more coats and the more the better it seems, but 3-5 light coats and you're good. takes less than an hour total. never blushes, and if it does you can add a quick coat and it will go away, or you can blow air on it (i use a ryobi mini leaf blower to speed drying even more) and it will usually dissipate. has a good spray nozzle also with a fan pattern that you can turn horiz or verti. it doesnt spit or splatter or clog. highly recommend over other brands.

You can get a flawless finish with this and a paint brush.
The price has almost doubled since I bought this in 2019! The fumes given off by Lacquer are NO Joke. This is extremely potent fumes that you do Not want to breath in and fill any dwelling with! The other downside is temperature requirements. Has to be very mild with low to moderate humidity to use. Although spaying on Lacquer is easier, it is a serious mess and the overspray can cause damage to other things unintended to be sprayed. Enter Brushing Lacquer. The same problems with fumes but No problems with overspray and needing a spray booth. It also might need a little more time to flatten but end results are identicle.

Great for guitar neck.
I used this for my guitar neck over some StewMac colored lacquer. It turned out really nice. It dries quick, finish is good quality, and nozzle is good quality. Would definitely recommend.

Heavy duty, great look/color
Worked great for the smooth final coat. Seems like its durable. It layered the proper thickness down

Me Like 'Um
This product is a good experience. I used up the whole can, without any nozzle maintenance (like cleaning it with acetone after use), except the usual spraying it upside down after use in order to force clean air through it and clear out the lacquer so it does not clog. I am a big fan of its unique (to me, at least) nozzle technology. The nozzle has crenelations around its circumference, which provide some pleasant features: -normal spray from a round-holed nozzle comes out in the shape of a cone, in which the base of the circumference of the cone is spray so thin that it just evaporates into the surrounding air, and is wasted. The crenelations flatten out the base of the cone, so it is directed to, and focused on, your target. The means less waste, plus, a better and more even coat of lacquer. -the crenelations make the spray function softer to the touch, and easier to activate and deactivate. The lacquer is quick-drying, and pretty-much dry to the touch in a minute, and ready for another coat in the 1/2 hour as advertised. When I get the spray all over my hands, it seems not to be messy, and is dry in no time, almost giving the illusion that I do not need to clean them. When the lacquer runs out, there still is enough pressure in the can to shoot useless air out of the nozzle, which confirms you have used up all the lacquer, and none is wasted due to lack of pressure. I am buying more, with the assurance the whole can will be empty, before any of its mechanisms for spraying are kaput, which is quite a disappointment, and happens with other products.

Easy to use and NO cleanup
Best thing, no cleanup. Use a mask due to fumes which are strong. I make boxes with old barnwood and this does not change the color. It also protects the aged wood fibers. A worthwhile expense as nothing else I have found will work.
