Does this come with a lead and plug to connect to mains electricity?

Yes it does, the plug for the input to the mains is near the bottom front of the bike, not on the back of the tablet holder.

How do I connect the power lead please? The little round plug goes into the hole marked input but doesn’t stay in or click or anything. Help please.

There may be a fault with the input. Ours clicked in fine. I would contact the seller if you cant plug it in. Also make sure you're plugging it in the right place, it goes on the front of the bike near the bottom, not on the back of the tablet holder. We made that mistake.

Does the seat only slide - not lift up..?

Yes, it slides up but in so doing covers varying heights of people. The pedals on the drum rotate and it is therefore a compromise between 'seat' position and leg length. In my own family there is a large range of heights and leg length and all seem to find a a position suitable to themselves. I have marked the position on the slide for the regular users to aid positioning Do NOT try to fix the position without taking your weight on your legs first ( i.e. fix when crouching)
