It keeps my turtle nice and toasty on cold days

This heater is easy to use and seems to be working well. Our bettas were fine but the water seemed cold to the touch so we got 2 heaters. It doesn't have a thermometer but it's not the end of the world. The red light indicates the light is on. The water is noticeably warmer!I have noticed both tanks are creating a lot more algae and need to be cleaned more often because of the water temperature. Not the heaters' faults - just a side effect.

The media could not be loaded.  This low cost heater was small enough to fit in my 2 liter Ziss Artemia Blender Baby Brine Shrimp (BBS) hatchery and has reliably kept the water temperature in the low 80’s every day for several weeks now. I highly recommend!

***UPDATE***After using this heater for a few months, it’s proven that it’s just not reliable. The temperature fluctuates wildly. The ambient room temperature where my tank is located is always around 68 degrees, yet the tank temperature is all over the place. One day it can be at 79 and the next day it will be 73 when there’s been absolutely no change in the room temperature! These temperature fluctuations can be stressful for fish, so unfortunately, I’ll be looking for a replacement. I originally got this heater for my 2.5 gallon betta tank. It kept the water between 82 and 83 degrees which is a bit too warm for a betta. The thermometer that I had in there actually went as high as 83.5, so I was worried to leave it unsupervised because it doesn’t always seem to stop heating at 82 like the description says. I’ve since moved the fish and this heater to a 5 gallon tank and the water has stayed at 78.6, which is just about perfect. I think this heater is just too hot for a small tank and I definitely recommend monitoring the temperature often if you do have it in a smaller tank. I use both a stick on temperature strip and a digital thermometer and check them several times a day just to be safe.

The description on here is misleading and doesn't match the box description. According to here the heater starts heating at 74 and stops once the heater reaches over 77, however the box says it starts under 77 and stops at 82 degrees. Very different so I gave a 4 instead of a 5 star because of this misleading description.It works well in my 2.5 gallon tank. Can't attest to how long it will work for as I have only had three cool days since I received it and usually my water is heated up high enough at room temperature since it is summer. I have a thermometer to check and it seems to heat as it states on the box once the water is below 77 degrees I haven't let my tank heat up to 82 since that's slightly uncomfortable for a betta. This is a temporary heater as I am planning to move my betta to a 5 gallon soon.If you buy this heater, or any heater really, make sure you have a thermometer so you can check your water temperature yourself. You can never be 100% on the accuracy of a heater so make sure to always check the temp yourself with a separate thermometer not just rely on the built in one of the heater.The suction power is great tho, it stays in place. It's also a very small heater and doesn't take up too much space in my tank. I have plenty of room for my decorations and my betta doesn't seem to mind the heater.

Our aquatic turtle is in a 2.5 gallon tank. The water is 2 inches so We didn't put the heater in the water since it barely covers it. Once he or she gets larger, we can add more water to the tank and put the heater in horizontally.

Worked okay for a month or so but stopped working. Turns on but will no longer heat up the water. Really bummed because this is the second time I’ve tried buying a heater from Amazon and neither worked well. Will have to buy a different one but if anything changes I will update :(

I was as unsure as hell about this little heater, especially because I would be using it in a little half-gallon bowl for my beta.It has performed exceptionally. Not overheated, no Beta cooking…..just held a nice reliable temp. I waited a month and 1/2 to be sure….and its still doing wonderfully.Love, love it!!!

Cumple con lo mencionado en las especificaciones y es muy fácil de instalar, yo lo tengo en una pecera de 2 galones y me ha funcionado muy bien, mi Betta se ve muy contento ya que antes tenía su agua fria y casi no se movía, pero al instalar este calentador se vio el cambio de inmediato, lo recomiendo.

so far so good, i’ve only had it in for a week or so, so i can’t speak on the longevity but it’s working well now. it’s quiet and small enough for my 2 gal tank

I bought this heater to raise the temp of my 3.5 gallon betta tank by 4 degrees F. After reading several tea views that said the heater was quite strong, I thought it would do the trick. The heater brought the temp in my tank up from 74 degrees F to a consistent 81. My betta is happy and warm. Very satisfied with the heater and would definitely recommend for tanks up to 3.5 gal.

Mi Beta sentía mucho el cambio de temperatura cada vez que le cambiábamos el agua o en las noches ahora en invierno, ahora todo el tiempo es feliz.
